FYI: “HIMYM” that people keep referencing is How I Met Your Mother. Never seen it. Also, never seen “Palm Springs”, whatever the hell that is. However, I did watch an episode of Black Mirror, where she was captured into a Star Trek-esque sci-fi nightmare. Now, that was really good. She’s awesome.

I actually thought the opposite. There were a few moments when Seth’s quips seemed to go straight over her head or she misunderstood a relatively simple question/term (eg British Royalty on the NYC subway, ‘getting off’ at Staten Island, bullish). I know that sounds rude, which is not nice in general but even more so when speaking about somebody who seems absolutely lovely (which she does). And it’s not meant at all as a critique of her intellect (most people would fumble a bit if put into such a public situation with someone as quick witted as Seth). If I was going to comment I would have talked about what a genuine, kind soul she comes across as. But I felt compelled to respond because we took such different impressions from this interview.

@@acsicsek I think I meant quick in terms of HER quips. I can see that might happen, what you are saying, but in conversation sometimes we don't even hear what the other person was saying, like if, for example, we are thinking about something else that was said earlier or whatever.
