Good stuff I look forward to seeing again and some for first time. I doubled down before the sale ended and got Nothing But A Man, Trainspotting 4K and upgraded to Apu Trilogy 4K 😅 Both orders arrived yesterday.

Thanks James! I'm eyeing both of the Eric Rohmer sets ("Six Moral Tales" and the new "Tales of the Four Seasons"). Rohmer isn't talked about as much as some other French New Wave directors but he definitely has his fans.

Already ordered the Chantal Ackerman box set, Mudbound, Trainspotting, Nothing but a Man, Roaring Twenties, and my most anticipated, The Heroic Trio/Executioners box set. Also picked up Pickup on South Street based on your recommendation. Got to use my $10 gift card and my $50 gift card! Thinking about getting the Godzilla box set, but maybe I'll wait on that one.

I wish I could place an order but blus aren't in the budget right now. I would love to get The Others 4K, the Ranown Western set and around 15-20 others, ha. If you haven't seen Come and See, that's one I'd highly recommend. It's definitely not a feel good movie but it's quite an experience. The Ascent is another great Russian movie set during WW2 and it was directed by the wife of the filmmaker who made Come and See. Not sure why my recs are both Russian war movies but I think they're really strong movies and are worth checking out.

I was lucky this year that I was close to earning 500 points, so I ended up making one order using my $10 gift certificate, which put me over to get my $50, then I used that on a second order. In all, I spent less that $120 on the Chantal Ackerman set, Trainspotting 4k, Letter Never Sent, the Freaks et al box set, Harikiri, Bitter Rice, and Three Outlaw Samurai.

I jumped right on this and picked up a few more than I expected. The Bad Sleep Well (DVD only), Pale Flower, Lone Star (4K), Vengeance is Mine, The Roaring Twenties (4K), David Lean Directs Noel Coward and La Piscine. I just noticed that I forgot to include Blast of Silence so I think i will be putting my freshly earned $50 gift card to use soon. (I added Blood Simple (4K), Harakiri, Pinocchio (4K) and Blast of Silence)
