I actually like the fact they kept the theme song but added a bit more spice to it for every game leading up to Paradise. I can only imagine how the next one would sound if there was another Burnout in the works.
Buddy, it is extremely simple to replace the guns and roses song with this one by renaming the files. You can watch the attract video with the actual theme before some suit demanded they change it.
@@danilookovic7971 I understand, I merely offer an escape from "TAKE ME DOWN TO PARADISE CITY WHERE THE GRASS IS GREEN AND THE GIRLS ARE PRETTY!" every time you boot the game
@@nickheerschap7237 they're not talking about Paradise City itself, they're talking about the background in the menu, in which, the theme in this video would have been more fitting by the way Paradise City is a great song, but I guess listening to it everytime you boot it up makes people lose interest in it :(
@@Brunn0121 haven't played 3 or Dominator (likely never will as I don't have a PS2), played the hell out of the paradise remaster, the revenge demo is also fun af EDIT: B3 just makes me angry every time I boot it up
Nobody came close or has since managed to replicate this iconic sound from Stephen Root. I have said this before on other videos but I expect there'll be a comeback to this genre and it is in its own. In fact I would love Stephen to release his own music, the world needs this art. Future nostalgia
@@cabbageboio I played the PS3 demo version like 2 years back, I confirm that this is the main screen soundtrack. Wished this one was used instead of Paradise City in the final game as it is more iconic to the franchise.
"This is Crash FM, and I'm DJ Atomika: fresh from Radio Big to be your guide to the streets of Paradise City. First thing we need is a picture for your learner's permit."
I first associated with Big Surf Island as I heard it in the DLC's trailer. Now I know it as the supposed to be Burnout Paradise's theme as the title suggests.
Burnout Dominator is all about owning the track, and dominating your rivals. If you wanna get ahead in this game, you'll need to take risks, that means using the streets to your advantage and the traffic like an old friend. First off: you need to know about boost, driving dangerously earns you boost, tailgate rivals, drift around corners, drive on the wrong side of the road and nearmiss the traffic. You can also steal boost by: slamming, shunting and rubbing, but earn the most by making them crash, we call this a takedown. Max out your boost bar, hit boost and burn it all in one, this is a burnout. Taking risks while burning refills your boost bar, earn enough and you will perform a burnout boost chain, get a long chain going and really dominate the track, but beware you can only earn while you burn if your boost is burning blue. We know there are times when a smash can't be avoided, so while you're crashing activate impact time, and use aftertouch to steer your car into path of uncoming rivals, and don't forget, we've kept a little extra for when you really need it, time it right and activate crashbreaker for the ultimate explosive payback. Combine aftertouch with crashbreaker to takedown rivals you otherwise couldn't reach. Keep your eyes open for signature shortcuts, takedown a rival in the right place and you'll unlock a whole new way to burn around the track. Now you know the basics, let the domination begin.
