I wish the trinkets are better or more useful. Most of them does nothing all game, the rest had negative effect or just completely niche. It is a rougelite so you just cant force a build. I think trinkets are the weakest point in the game

yeah they are honestly a bit niche, but most of the power in this game comes from the vestiges and binding augments so i think it's fine, otherwise you'd be too strong.

I mean, they're more to give some direction rather than to give power which imo they do well. There are some behind the scene modifiers that make lining up builds more likely as well. Based on what you destroy and such those things are more likely to appear. Always remember games lie to you. If you play xcom and it says 95% change to hit the enemy, probably more like 98% because people would just get too frustrated by missing 1/20.
