The thought that Artagan would grant Jester the short time ability to create 40 Duplicity to rain down from the Sky ship isnt so farfetched. Just Imagine the sky darkens above you, you look up in confusion and just see Dozens of identical Blue Tieflings paratrooping towards you. Even if they dont know Jester thats a scary sight
Oh hey it's the exact moment I realized C3 would just continue to be a self-referential slog with characters that aren't half as interesting as they think they are. Vax's conclusion at the end of C1 was incredibly meaningful and powerful both to me and the character himself. Bringing him back like this is a slap in the face and is the worst kind of fan service. I haven't watched C3 since this episode, and nothing I've heard since then is convincing me it ever improved
The main goal of D&D is to have fun with friends, and the CR cast was having a huge blast seeing C1 references. Make whatever conclusions you want from it.
@@UtaNngkrngDpanKompi haven't for months now, thanks. I do laugh every time I hear from my brother about how terrible the story and characters are though, so that's always a good pick-me-up
