Holy shit, I gotta comment on De Paul's fucking RANGE, man. Like, he's this sorta kinda mousy, kindly old man voice normally and then just like, when he goes into character it's like he EXPLODES into this character who is like three times the size. He's a force of nature, man. Props.

Honestly, if you get a really nice suit they can be quite comfortable. Always thought dressing up nice was synonymous with being uncomfortable until my wife convinced me to actually get a suit tailored to me. I absolutely love getting the chance to wear it.

In the Shadow of Mordor game, when you enter Uruk's Hollow to poison the grog barrels, you can hear Uruks singing a song about grog. I swear, it sounds like a choir of Grog Strongjaws.

Hey, hey, hey man... MUDs are still in... In fact, the one he referenced is The Two Towers MUD (t2tmud.org), which I and other people do still play. RJ Garcia III there already is a Witcher game (only released in Polish), you can use Deadlands as a basis for Red Dead, I've seen a Bioshock game using the storyteller rules and there's already a fair few Star Wars RPG.

Laura playing a big dumb brute especially a troll is such a perfect mirror of travis's role as grog stonejaw. Its epic gold and I found myself paying far more attention to her character then the others, though everyone did a good job. Besides, they have shown so many interesting Uruks and Ologs that you might encounter, I'm so excited for Shadow of War that I'm practically bouncing off the walls....and I haven't felt that way about a game for a very long time, like back when I was still going to High School (which was about 11 years ago!). I mean, just look at "the Tower", "Tasty", "the Bard" etc. The Tower in particular looked and sounded amazing! I loved the lines they showed from him, where first he said this: "Before we do battle, know this: I will endure more pain than you can possibly fathom. The Tower's armor will see to that." And then, after getting recruited (when most other recruits say something like "I serve you, Bright Lord!"), he simply says: "You stand before....the Tower."

Raina P I know it’s a mess but to be honest socialized health care isn’t really free it’s taxpayer funded and not worth it there’s countries like Mexico and Cuba that offer free healthcare but the countries are a mess and little to no food and jobs can be found socialism isn’t really sunshine and rainbows were actually pretty advanced and health insurance is a thing so there’s that we’re not bad place to love as many people believe.

I love how the cast essentially played the opposite of their characters in the game here. Big strong uruk--->spindly little goblin archer Gigantic dumb olog-hai--->cunning manipulative mage Elegant elven assassin------>big brutish olog defender I forgot who/what role Sam played in the game, but outside of Matt (who played a godlike being both in the game and here) everyon played as the polar opposite of their in-game versions and I love it.

I love the level of nerd that is revealed by watching all the Critical Role episodes. Sure you have the basic of reading tolkein, but then you start hearing them playing MUDs. It's awesome.

57:48 - 58:57 Love Mozuu the Chosen's upgraded name and am so impressed by Darin coming up with Skak being the interpretor of "his" eyes, as Skak carves his helmet! Just in general, Darin really kept up with Sam, Travis, and Laura, who happen to be my favorite players. So well done to him! And I loved Sam's lower voice and general awesomeness, Laura's adorable troll voice, and Travis's high-pitched goblin!

I've put so many hours into Shadow of War and not only am I excited to find out that Critical Role played a part in it, but listening to them talk and converse, I could imagine actual uruks from the game talking.

Paulas facial expressions as stupid Olog are awesome, seeing Travis being a goblin makes me laugh almost as much he does, Sam being Sawboney and aaalmost smart and Darren just Owning his role is just.. inspiration guys. Thank you. Can’t wait to get to playing. Seriously. Thank you so much.

all the performances are top notch. i like the commitment to the roles and especially laura's foolishness as her character. "oh, the drink's just been disrespected." and puts on the face of *seems legit.
