Okay, a few points: 4:40 - The Blue Jays were having a pretty good season as well, having come off their second World Series winning season, and there was a possibility that it could have been an all-Canadian World Series that year. This had one comedian utter the joke that if that happened, there would be some guy in the US turning off his TV as he muttered "Crap. Well, it's a Canadian game anyways." 8:56 - I was laughing through that whole impersonation. 9:58 - Weird Al's song "Foil" is *MUCH* better. 13:25 - The story I have heard is that my team was called the Blue Jays in hopes that fans would shorten the name to "The Blues" and thus think about Labatt's Blue beer. Unfortunately for the company, everyone shortened it to "The Jays"...which I think has a better ring to it. (Two rings that is...back-to-back World Series rings. ^_^)
