Everything you make is just excellence!!! Seriously bro. I would love to have a home front store where things you can mass produce can be shipped from the west coast. And I ABSOLUTELY can’t wait to get my others from you!!!
I'm with you. But that would cost knife companies a lot of customers, as the price for each unit they sell would be substantially higher. I'd be really interested to know what the ratio is of customers who end up buying an aftermarket sheath for a given knife. What I do know is that crappy factory sheaths pretty much put food on my table lol
I like the non auto vers because sometimes a couole hard boops to the face is a good enough response. Instead of going straight to the blade deployment. 😂
Hahaha yessir, that's true in MANY circumstances! But even with the auto version, you can draw without deploying the blade. Either one will give you what you need, but I can see the pros and cons to each for sure! Thanks for the view! 👊🇺🇲
I do! I haven't had a chance to get product photos and create a listing on my website, but I've got sheaths for the compact in both auto and non auto configurations. Email me at blackbearcustomkydex@gmail.com and I'll get you set up with what you need
I do! I have a vacuum sheath for the compact that offers all the same features as the full size. I just haven't gotten around to putting a listing on my store, but feel free to email me and I can get an order going for you.
Can a muti-clip with pocket carry be done? Can you make for the everyday straight blade version? Is the Provoke well tested? Can the lock fail during use?
All great questions: I'm working on a mold for the EDC version, so pretty soon I'll be able to offer those sheaths. Carrying in the pocket with an ulticlip will absolutely be possible. I would recommend going with a non-auto version of the sheath if you'll be carrying in the pocket. Otherwise you'll almost certainly slice your pocket when you draw. The lock on these knives is extremely reliable. I highly doubt you'd ever experience a failure during normal use. That said, ALL folders are technically more breakable than most fixed blades, so I wouldn't recommend putting it through any super heavy duty use like batoning wood or chopping tests
Hello. I probably seen every video that you put out. You got me started making kydex knife sheaths. I think if you could show people how you make some of your sheaths it will be very popular. I've seen a lot of them on utube but your at a higher level. Just a thought. Modern.suvival
Thanks for all the views my friend! I'm actually working on exactly that. I'll be doing a kydex tutorials channel that will also feature the most advanced stuff that subscribers will be able to access, and even direct guided lessons to help new makers really get a leg up in the business. Keep an eye out, I'll be announcing the launch soon!
