Enjoyed your review. I just bought one of these knives a month ago and really like it. I see what your saying about the liners and will not put it in a position for it to take unnecessary abuse. After all this is a folder and I always carry a fixed blade and leatherman in my bag.
I have the CRKT 1670blk Blur. It's crap. I had to return it the first year because the mechanism failed. They replaced the failed parts no questions. The blade steel has been horrible for edge retention.
