Spiffo you mad lad, if you see this, if you get a moment I’d love to chat and ask you some questions about how to get early review copies of games and press kits so I can get my gaming channel up and running. Hope you’re having a splendid day and a cup of Yorkshire!
You don't control the characters directly. You design the buildings for the frogs to move into, there's a quick look at that around 0:16 in the trailer. There'll be different resource production chains you build up like this, for example in this trailer you can see the lumberjack, sawmill and fisher - these produce the resources you need for creating the buildings and for various products for your villagers. That's the basic stuff, more gameplay-focused trailers will be shown in as we get closer to release.
I know this game is still in very early development, but when do you expect it to be ready, reasonably? Also, are there any plans for a Nintendo Switch version?
This is looking so cute!! I love the environments and the little frogs, their animations are adorable!! Instant wishlist from me, can't wait to play it !
My Brain: Don't Say is look like Ampihibia, Don't Say is look like Ampihibia, Don't Say is look like Ampihibia Me: is look like Amphibia :o My Brain: That's it, i'm getting out here (leave the room and close de door) When the game comes out I'm sure a player will want to build their own version of Wartwood :"3
Oooooo this looks super cute!!! (♥w♥) I dunno why but the idea of a cute little froggy tavern popped into my head and now I can't stop thinking about cute bug/flower themed foods being served, or perhaps a frog bard who visits the tavern and croaks awesome tunes to attract patrons!! X3 Gonna wishlist this and keep an eye on it!
Why can't we live like this for real tho?? Like in a little cute village together with our friends just enjoying life? Real life sucks, this looks amazing and I can't wait to ignore the dishes to play this instead.
Wild how within a month of one another two nearly identically named games with a very similar world construction setup are announced :O Talking about ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-46drvjwjMSs.html (Whiskerwood), which seems like a more technically difficult version of Croakwood (which, granted, was announced first by over a month), pretty much. Not suggesting any foul play, it's just crazy how that can happen!
many and mane developers need to make city building games BUT with ANIMALS as the main population. it's fun. really. timberborn is a good example of that. need city building that based on that animal's needs and characteristics. imagine orang utan city building. that gonna be amazing
@@xt3100 Yeah, makes sense! It's comparable in so far as also being a town building game with resource management. The main differences are that in Croakwood you have a lot of freedom for how to design the buildings and decorate the town (if you want to do that) and the overall mood is very relaxed and peaceful (a bit more like our previous game Parkitect, or The Sims/Animal Crossing maybe)
This looks amazing!! I love the graphics and who doesn’t love frogs!! Eeek! I can’t wait to play it!! 🐸Great job guys! Is there a story that goes along with it? Or more of a sandbox?
Ah, Going Medieval with frogs :) looks fun! The animations do look a bit stilted, the movement a little too strict on their 90-degree-angle-paths, but I'm sure this will all be taken care of during further development :)
"Local indie developer with only one prior game puts EA to shame" Seriously i wish for a more simplistic sim-like game that focus on building and design and this delivers.
What's with indie developers and frogs as of late? Did I miss something or is it like test answers being passed around so everyone gets the same score.
