Miss him so much. My daughter is 23 and starting when she was 4 we would sit down and watch the Croc Hunter in the afternoon. We wrote him a letter and he sent a personal note on his postcard back to her! Lovely. She misses him too!

esockell That sounds like Steve. He was such a great human. The song is true, only the good die young.

He experienced more in his short life than most of us would over ten lifetimes! He did so much for conservation, with the kind of enthusiasm and kindness that inspires. I miss him. The world would be better with him in it.

For anybody visiting the Kent area, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VISITING HOWLETTS & PORT LYMPNE . I live in this area and been many times. Port Lympne is more about the safari ride bit nowadays and it's not as open as it used to me, but Howletts is especially amazing!

So sad what happened to that gorilla, and even worse that people are laughing, probably because they are uncomfortable. They should learn that we are the same as them and that they should imagine living in a cage to keep in mind to be more empathetic as we caused this.

John Aspinall made most of his fortune swindling the British aristocracy during the 60's and 70's by running gambling houses and being a bookie. According to his Wiki; Aspinall targeted his events at the rich, sending out embossed invitations. Back then, gambling houses were defined in British law as places where gambling had taken place more than three times. With his Irish-born accountant John Burke, Aspinall rented upper class flats and houses, never used them more than three times, and had his mother pay off local Metropolitan Police officers. Among the gamblers were the Queen's racehorse trainer Bernard van Cutsem, who brought friends like the Earl of Derby and the Duke of Devonshire. The standard bet was £1,000, (which, after adjusting for inflation would be £25,000 in 2007 figures.) Chemie games were quick and played every 30 seconds, with £50,000 changing hands per game. On his first such event Aspinall made a profit of £10,000, a sum roughly equivalent to £300,000 in 2017 money. In 1958, Aspinall was living at Howletts Zoo, in Kent; at one point his mother had forgotten to pay off corrupt police officers, so the police raided his game that night. He won the subsequent court case, the outcome of which is known as Aspinall's Law. The win created a vast increase in Chemie games, during which: The landowner, the Edward Stanley,, 18th Earl of Derby, lost over £20,000; and then returned on another night and lost £300,000. And; The founder of the Special Air Service, Colonel Sir David Stirling, lost £173,000 on Aspinall's tables, writing out an IOU at the end of the night.

Ahoyhoy There, Fellow RU-vidrino! I used to strongly dislike Gorillas, but that one Gorilla slapping his hand on the bars to say" Gimme more food" was so human it's hard to not like them at least somewhat. Plus, I saw that one Crocodile Hunter episode with the baby gorilla; Absolutely Adorable!

I think that Steve Earle what is very funny but some times it can get very scary when the crocodiles or alligators are trying to get you and it's very very scary and it important that you know what he is doing with I know it's very dangerous with these alligators and crocodiles in that environment it can be very very much dangerous with these animals are loose from Gabrielle Rivas from Roslyn heights ny

these wild gorillas therebare very wealthy perons personal pets. these are domesticated animals. they actually make the best pets in the on the face of the world. the elite tell you they don’t because they need you working and paying taxes so they can play with them all day long. the slaves aren’t allowed.
