That backlash against stingrays breaks my heart....it's the exact opposite of everything he worked for. Don't hate the animal; Steve would've said it wasn't the stingray's fault.
Steeltalon94 yeah literally if Steve were able to come back in ghost form he’d be making sure you understand the event was entirely his fault as HE accidentally stood on it so that was just it’s instinct. There’s no way Steve would be mad at the stingray and would rather he the one having died than any harm coming to the stingray and that’s why I love Steve Irwin so much.
Back when he first died his family had to tell people to stop killing stingrays, cause they were doing it out of anger. They said that Steve would not have wanted it that way and wouldn't have blamed the animal at all
@@retroriley17 he was swimming with them to show people their beauty so they could appreciate and respect it more and people did the opposite of what he wanted🤦🏼♀️it was almost his dying wish for people to not harm them
This was one of my all-time favorite shows as a teen. I would run home from school, drop everything, then flip on the TV to Animal Planet. I thought Steve was one of the coolest people on the planet and I still admire him for his work. I learned so much about animals and respecting wildlife from him.
i am a fan of his and when i heard that he was killed by a stingray and that he accidently scared it i knew it was just a freak accident and didnt have any hard feelings toward the stingray.
Right? The stingray was just being a stingray. He wasn't intentionally going after Steve... It was all just a freak accident. I sure do miss Steve though. 😔
How bad ass was Steve? Anyone else would have stressed that 🐨 out capturing it and shove it in a cage. Not Steve , he takes the branch and the 🐨 and puts them in the cab next to him
It seems like saving the animals is just a band-aid to a larger problem of humans encroaching in these animals territory and we need to deal with that problem as well.
Ahoyhoy There, Fellow RU-vidrino! I didn't know that Baby Alligators made noise, so adorable, and somewhat hilarious. Sounds like a child throwing a tantrum, saying " I don't want to " when the parental guardian tells him what to do.
it hurt to see him on video. we did not meet this amazing man in person but he is such an amazing good soul and his family is so great at what they are and do.
I love Steve Irwin, it's such a same he died at his age.. I grew up watching his shows.. at least he went out doing what he loved and in the end I guess that's the way to do it.
I wonder how devastated Steve would've been if he were to see the Australia bushfires this year. God took him away right in time so that he didn't have to see it.
Terry the wife of steve grate mum to her kids and taken the roll on of there dads work he would be over the moon, r.i.p steve gone but never forgotting
Why were the rock-wallabies not put in an enclosure like that in the first place? Seems like that wasn't just thrown up. Looked pretty solid and well made. So not put up the day of. Seems like they endangered them for nothing letting them go in such an area.
Rainbow Quartz 2.0 if you listened, they said that the wallabies were being kept at another zoo, who couldn’t hold them any more and sent them to auz zoo early
@@jordanhedington2421 That's not what I was talking about. I was talking about when they arrived they didn't put them in a properly fenced-in area. And let them roam a dangerous site that was not completed. They got under that bridge didn't they? And at the end they THEN put them in a secure and sturdy enclosure. That should have been done in the first place.
@@hiddenwithinthepages1373 they were only in that enclosure while they made everything else wallaby-safe. that enclosure looked like just a tiny cage lol, not something you can put animals for a long period of time. they probably thought letting them roam free while doing the safety measures was okay, but they didn't thought the wallabies would escape.
