Cops chasing Ws over RP again... They need to stop looking at rules and just ask "what would be the most interesting outcome here?" Letting Suarez go and putting out a warrant is far more interesting than booking him here. They could let Shiesty have a chance to catch him, and make all future crim acts by Suarez that much more intense if he gets identified. But I guess they got a quota to fill or something...
Nah, they should follow the rules, but they should start actually following them *CONSISTENTLY!* Instead of following the rules for some and not following rules for others.
"If 6/7 say he did it then he did it" is that easy? so a group a criminals can just go and tell the PD they shot someone that means that person is going to get arrested and processed? lmao
The fact they call judges also to confirm shit shouldn't be allowed cause now that is 2 judges conflicted because of the cops calling them. Decker is a W chasing cop.
Its a typical decker thing, even Murphy said they had no right to call the judges to confirm anything, that's why if this goes to bench which it most likely will, there's a high chance that the judge will just throwout the case
@@dillonismyname its on the docket, so it'll be reviewed but even some cops agree that he shouldn't of been in MRPD in the first place, so it'll be down to the judge to decide whether it goes further but IMO I hope Suarez gets caught then he can actually like unhinge himself and go nuts properly, the RP would be insane
Ladies and gents this is how you tank a pd reputation. They didnt want to hold the gun for investigation and write a warrant they just wanted to full send a arrest.
@@maverick4220 yh no one is going to catch him in a chase they have been chasing him like a week or 2 since he got fired and haven't caught him cause their best drivers like Whippy(on Croc) don't have the car to keep up and the others Suarez could out drive them in a Club lol
not unless they have a crim too, to be heavily involved in the behind the scenes of a server like this i feel like you should probably know all aspects
Decker is honestly the worst type of officer to have on the force. The ignorant Know-it-all. He always has to be right and gets upset if you challenge him on his absurd viewpoints (cop or crim).
It’s actually sad how dumb these cops are lol. “It’s my character” is not a fallback for being a terrible cop, terrible entertainer, and terrible RPer 🤣🤡🤣🤡🤣🤡
But they didn´t run Lang´s gun once altough he was detained multiple times at the scenes of shootings. And this stuff with denying him his lawyer of choice is crazy.... And the attidute of that senior officer arguing with Croc (Whippy) is why nobody likes the PD in 4.0. And the AO is plainly lying to his superiors.
Langs gun was always found mostly on other people, pd also has like 3 or 4 of his legal guns. His legal guns were also ran and charged on the people who were in the possession of the guns
Lang gets the kiddy glove treatment. Watch from Ramees POV on Conan yesterday. Conan was the only cop trying to arrest Lang. Every other cop just followed him for 10 minutes while he waited for a pickup. No tackles, no tazes, nothing.
"I'm not chasing this gauntlet for the next three days for a single warrent," For one it's the job you CHOSE to do. You chose being a cop. And W croc for once. It's not like they are arresting a 'known' crim, this would take away his bar license correct? It should be done correctly
I mean if what Suarez said about why he was OOCly removed from PD is true, that he wasn't the correct "fit" for the PD for 4.0 - then why the hell is Decker/Byson still there if he does the same thing? The way Decker barged into the hospital to move Suarez to MRPD is the type of behavior they don't want. Hopefully the Admins will stay consistent but I doubt it.
The arresting officer willingly lying should get him fired. Hes trying to cover up his mess up. He said multiple times he was under arrest. Suarez asked if i detained or arrested and the officer said under arrest.
wtf? If you don't have evidence then you can't hold him. You can't hold someone because you think he is involved without any evidence and then get evidence to make him guilty. This is beyond insane. If the law is not in the city, there is no law period.
@@maverick4220 it's as if he brough up laws out of thin air. There is a reason why laws has to be written for the city and not copy and past from real life. If that was the case there wouldn't need to be any writing of laws. Its actually crazy that they are using laws that exist outside of the game and bringing it in game just to justify their actions.
I feel like a lot of pd needs a course in recognizing when a charge is "lame". Like sure, you can push all sorts of charges based on grey areas and technicalities. But to end Suarez's "clean" arc by pushing these shakey charges is such an unsatisfying end to what could have been interesting.
I agree. Anytime someone switch between the 3 main factions of Government worker, Civ, and Criminal you need to make 100% sure that they want it. If the RP is operating respectfully the person switching will make it obvious that they want it. Just like how you'd never give the death penalty to a character unless they wanted it. Obviously there is a degree of leniency here. You can't let people repeatedly break laws and get away with it. However, it seems incredibly scummy to force someone's character to go down a completely different path without knowing that they are 100% guilty. Its also pretty disgusting how many cops have basically broke character in the cells to laugh or brag that they are forcing someone to be a criminal.
I still think it's hilarious that they keep saying the word 'detained' but dude in the regular shades clearly walked in the room at the hospital to tell suarez get arrested or go to prison
Why are cops playing the role of a district attorney and talking about court. That isnt there job just arrest and let someone else do it. I know this is rp tho
Technically, even IRL, cops can act as prosecutors. Since there isn't even enough lawyers in the server as it is, they kind of have to act as both because there isn't a dedicated lawyer just for PD.
@DakotaTheRota IRL you're only ever going to see that in Traffic court, and a lot of jurisdictions are even going away from that and having a local ADA handle things.
Lets be honest, Suarez lowkey getting treated like how he used to treat some criminals, nevertheless, this is still wrong and bad rp imo so welcome to CG Suarez.
They already conflicted the judge that would likely be available. Either that judge would take the case and rule in favor of the PD because of previous info, or he wouldn't, and they would sit there and wait for a non conflicted judge.
I assume most of Rem's viewers are primarily cop viewers? Maybe this will provide a new perspective, to see the PD from a new side. Now they can see the consequences of the ruined RP and the imbalance of loss for rushed PD work.
Rem got a huge influx of viewers from the crim side, but yeah he probably still has a healthy number of long time cop viewers. Honestly in a perfect world you should be required to have an established crim character in order to be a cop. The issue is that establishing a crim on the server is hard fucking work. People think it’s easy, but finding a good group and actually progressing is hard af for a new character. Cops think they can just make these sbs crim characters who go around asking people for guns and then shooting anyone and everyone and they’ve “seen both sides“, when in reality they’re just playing a cop’s version of what a crim is. They get arrested and think “of course I’m arrested I’m a dirty criminal what do these other crims expect to happen?”, failing to see the nuances of crim vs cop interaction.
The PD’s problem is they have been trained to arrest people vs Rp with them. The whole storyline with Denzel now left with an unsatisfying ending because like Croc is saying even if technically allowed doesn’t feel great. How many other situations have gone like this and destroyed any goodwill the pd has?
I understand being a judge can be very boring, going hours and hours, day after day with very limited RP. However: this is one good example of why judges shouldn't be allowed to have a cop character - they become judge, jury and executioner.
This is why I hope Croc stays in the main police force and doesn't go to the sheriff's office cause he is a voice of reason in this place and brings up the best points. And they will need him there more than ever😅
Decker dont know RAS, PC, investigative detentions, or chain of custody reguarding evidence. Or in his own words he "doesnt care and neither do the judges".
yep, was more pointing out that it was actually an arrest (and phrasing it in a similar way to how the cop was phrasing RS and RAS are the same thing lol) The cop was literally saying they didn't arrest him in the clip because it was an illegal arrest
We all know the pd just trying to get the W like usual . They assume shit and think they have the right to do things when irl yes they would but in a role play server it’s just a lot of assuming and being powerful as a cop
I dont get why the cops are still so hard on getting the W, they dont even get paid for a portion of the charges anymore. I think good police work, investigating the crime, and following proper procedure makes WAY better roleplay. If the PD didnt keep fucking this up, they wouldnt be shoehorning an entire sheriff department to offset how badly the PD's rep has tanked. LSDP's the content police, and not a police department that makes content.
I'm preetty sure that it was that you cannot have more lawyers IN COURT because Ramee was planning on it and suprisesuprise a legistlation dropped. I don't think it said that you cannot have multiple in cells.
Was the PD RP ever, you know, fun? I remember in 3.0 you could find 1 or 2 people to watch who were cops that had funny RP moments, now it's just dull, with a hint of frustration when they get involved with criminals. Listen, I often find CG's content a little extreme and pushy, but I find myself on their side whenever a cop goes to far.
I will go have an extended talk with the judges “pd” . Yeah I bet you will, this just allows for the pd and the judges to sit and circle jerk their opinions . Need Suarez a lawyer to go talk to the judge with them
You may NOT move a detainee more than a brief distance, without officially arresting them. Officers may only move a detainee under very specific circumstances. Moving them out of traffic, out of danger. Or moving them back to the scene of the crime so that one officer can question them and the other can continue investigating a time sensitive scene, etc. You are violating their constitutional rights by moving them all the way to jail without arresting them.
Decker or whateva his name is thinks someone not trying to get f'd over or lie down and just take PD f-ups is them trying to get special treatment? No mfer they're just not a b and your character having power don't mean s lmao
I think in order to play on the server you need to play both crim and cop to understand the issues from both sides. Then maybe there might be a better balance...
Ppl going to blame the pd/judges but its really a failure of the admins cause its all just winging shit. Its honestly pathetic how theirs basically no foundation to how they want the government/justice system to operate. Nobody knows shit n just makes it up as they go n thats why judges give different answers. Its just annoying n thats how players sit by themselves in the cells while cops debate eachother about shit that can be done multiple different ways.
"Why wouldn't we put him in investigative hold" maybe because he is a civ in a situation you cannot 100% clear just like that. Ok of he had a record but he is a civ, they talk like they have seen every clip and IC knows everything
No Pixel PD commonly does this. They "know" that the person likely has a gun or something else they can arrest them for so pushes questioning/detaining into allowing them to search the person so they can arrest. If it is a "known" bad guy they press any charges they can if it is a "known" civilian they talk about officers discretion and investigation and let them go. Seems to be the SOP for 4.0
I feel like if they always move you to PD if you are detained, then there really isn't any difference from being detained and being arrested. Im pretty sure I've seen videos of actual cops not moving someone they've detained to PD unless they have arrested them.
Its whats a reasonable investigation… traffic stops are deemed 10 min is a reasonable amount of time to process. Anything after is unnecessary holding. Im sure this follows the same doctrine just with a different threshold than a traffic stop.
If this brain dead cop actually thinks you're allowed to legally move somebody without them actually being committed of a crime this dude needs to go back under his Rock😂
You shouldnt be allowed to join the city and instantly be a cop.. you should have to earn your prio before you even can think about being a cop at all.. right now you have a bunch of rule breakers joining the server and becoming cops just to get prio and they make awful cops and they dont care if they follow the rules at all and its going to ruin the city...
Imagine if the pd has any idea what rp was instead of the w or l.... so sad to see this just getting much worse at such a rapid pace. What happened to good cops who wanted rp more than anything else... the days of ziggy and snow are dead its no wonder frank doesnt care about his job anymore.... such a sad thing to see they so openly just tossed the rules and laws out and do what they want. Its become coppixel
@ 21:08 did he just say that a custodial interrogation is the same thing as being detained or talking to someone on the side of the street? Or did I just hear that wrong?
croc was a much worst W chasing cop. he was ban from playing cop because he overstep and abuse his power in 3.0. remember he was the guy that detcoord cg jewel dragon just because they happen to find the entrance
@@demothI understood Whippy rolling up Croc as a cop main was a purpose built character in response to how some people acted when they were going up against him on Dundee. I didn't think he was any different than half the police force that was playing on 3.0 at the time.
I kinda feel bad for the New Younger Cop he was just trying to do his job and the way they lead him to believe was correct was all wrong so he looks like he fucked up not high command.
Cops should ask it’s crazy the head of bar that is a non-corruptible position could be a lawyer. Murphy as a lawyer is always top tier but the things he did idk it was over reaching. It was good and great rp could come from it but in terms of perspective of power it was over reaching and I personally liked it, but the pd didn’t push back in the way I think he wanted.
The other 6 at the scene could say the complete opposite... now what.... taking statements from an involved party is never considered as 100% truth until it is proven to be...
What I'm wondering is if the audience RP awareness is high enough that if a server prioritized RP over commercial priorities, could that server be equal to or exceed the commercial value of NoPixel through RP integrity and immersion value? I suspect that the sad truth is that it wouldn't. The general audience simply isn't observant or mature enough. I also don't think that it's realistic that commercialism doesn't have to be the governing factor. The number one priority of every single person involved at the earning levels of NoPixel is first and foremost the money, and what 20% balks at, 80% probably just sees as entertainment.
