Hello I'm from the U.S. , California. I'm a senior and need step by step instructions that I can actually follow and do, your videos are perfect! You teach very well and I like how you take your time to show the steps and how you time stamp the different rows so I can go back to them. I appreciate your videos very much! Thank you!
This pattern is just Beautiful! & the way you teach it is just perfect! I've only been crocheting for 6-8 months, I've made many different blankets, bags, slippers, scarves, etc., & your tutorials are my FAVORITE! 🧶💙🧶 You explain each stitch, every step of the way, so clearly. I've never finished a video of yours, confused or unsure of what to do. Also, your video & sound quality is great! Zoomed in just right, not too loud or too quiet. No background music, no unnecessary chitchat... I could go on & on... Please keep it up! Your tutorials are the BEST!💖
Thanks for your fabulous tutorial. I've wanted to make a star blanket for ages, then I recently discovered your video and you explain everything so clearly. Now on my second star baby blanket and it's my new favourite pattern. So relaxing to do once you get into the rhythm of it :) xx
To the new students of crochet: If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try again! Really! I have pulled things out even 4/5 times when necessary, because I want it right. Practice really makes perfect! Be patient with your self, and pause as necessary, count along the way. You will get it! Thanks so much for the pattern❣ 😁 P.s . I love you choice of polish, and appreciate that it is fresh! 💅
Thank you for the tutorial. This is the first time I follow a tutorial in English and it was not difficult to understand. My baby blanket is almost finished. All the best for you, Bella Coco ❤️
Thank you so much, I’ve only ever made simple blankets but I wanted to do something for my pregnant coworkers baby and I made this with no issues! Your tutorials are so fantastic! X
Looking for another lockdown project and found your video on the twelve point star blanket. I have started it using yarn from my hidden wool stash, it is a very addictive pattern to work. Thank you for the tutorial video and stay safe. 🌸
I just started crocheting and I've gotta say, I loooove your videos. You are very clear on what to do and don't work at to fast of a pace. I also enjoy how you tell where to pause your videos-great for beginners!!
i have been crocheting for over 40 years and you are the best at instruction of patterns. i belong to the angel blanket org. and your blankets make it so easy to follow that i am able to send a box of blankets frequently. thank u so much
I ve already made Bella's 12 point star in a 6ft across Spider Web ! It turned out perfect 🥰 I m now going to make another in a 6 ft across pink and white color with the webbing look. It looks s pretty , people love the pattern ! Thank You Bella 😊
I just love your video tutorials!! You give very detailed directions, pauses for the transitions and a very pleasant speaking voice. I will be a fan/subscriber forever!!!
You create the most beautiful patterns. I've been crocheting for about 10 years now and have been following your channel and am learning a lot from you.
I’ve made this and added a centre piece lion appliqué, wish I could post the photo. So easy to follow this pattern and am making my second blanket for another friends grandson after she saw my first blanket. Thank you for your clear instructional video.
Bella Coco your videos are the Very Best I tried to make this 12 Star blanket 2 other times watching others till someone told me how wonderful your videos were and they were right! Thank you for making all these Video's for us to watch!

Love this class ..You do it so clearly and precise its easy to follow ..i now am working on 3 12 pt Star blankets different colors, and they are beautiful ..Thank you ❤
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Self taught and never follow a pattern - this is a first for me and found your instructions very easy to follow. Thanks again.
Hello Bella Coco! My mum who doesn't have a RU-vid account wants me to comment on your page to thank you for your very insightful and clear tutorials. She really appreciates it and she's having loads of fun practicing her crocheting skills daily now.
This is the most complicated looking piece I have attempting and I’m so happy with how it is turning out, thank you for the easy to follow instructions.
Thank you, for this beautiful pattern! I just started it and am keeping it with mint and blue, changing colors like in your blanket, using white to showcase the pattern and colors. Quite excited, i must say! 😄
It turned out pretty well, although I bungled up here and there until I realized the math equation of it! After that, I made sure I counted each 'point' up and down the rows. Have a slight buckling in the middle, but it actually adds texture to the blanket! Plan on making another in pink, white and lemon colors now. Thank you for this lovely patter! 💕
I love your to Torio and I like that you translated so other people don’t speak English to follow along I wish other people that do tutorial that don’t speak English word translated so that the people in English to follow along the great teacher
Finally got courage to watch this as I’ve seen many other beautiful examples.thought he way too hard. Your tut is excellent so this is my next project - thank you so much again 🌻
very helpful, better than another video I watched and couldnt figure out where to put the hook exactly nor which 2 stitches to miss. It also ended up puckering and rippling because i had too many stitches. On yours I could see that exactly. Now to finish my star.
Hello, I'm your new subscriber, just want to thank you so much for the videos. I am a knitter, for years I wanted to learn crochet, I tried tutorial classes, books, friends.....without any success. I came across your video by chance and found your instructions so clear and easy to follow, so I pulled out some old yarns, and wow! for a few hours I have made an infinity scarf, now I am on the next project, the granny square. 😘
Bella, thank you so much for the pattern and video. You are so easy to follow. I would recommend you to everyone. Again, thank you so very much. Happy hooking🙂
Thanks, this is great. I’ve done something similar in variegated yarn but this is so much nicer done with your clear colour changes. I love Sundays but can’t wait to be able to sit down in peace at the end of the day! X
THANK YOU this has been so easy to follow and make, my first star blanket I followed someone else on youtube and she did it so differently and my points were not points and it rippled so THANK YOU
Very nice Ms Bella ! I've been watching, learning and doing projects that you teach for awhile now. You explain everything clearly. Your photography is excellent. Thank you!! Appreciate all you do. 👍👍🤗
I love the way you teach us, you are so thorough and helpful. I have a baby in mind who will be born in August. Which yarn would you suggest? With the blanket above how much wool did you use? . I keep looking at the blanket and it looks so soft and squishy 🙃
Thank you so much! It's really down to personal preference: a cotton blanket would be nice and cool for an August baby, but acrylic yarn is more hardwearing and easier to care for imo. Yarns that contain merino wool are always lovely for babies too as they are very soft 🙂
To k lo: I received an alert that you replied and I read your comment but I can’t find it even though it brings me here. So if you see this response I say whichever tutorial works best for you is certainly the way to go! Sarah-Jayne is very clear in her instruction! I made one of these a few years ago in our class and we gave them to the NICU. It was smaller for preemies! I have the pattern somewhere lol.
I know you did this pattern back in 2018 but after all my dang video watching I thought hmmm bella has to have something and after me getting aggregated pitching yarn just kidding I felt like it lol.. I have this down thank you so much for making it plain jane sort of speak. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 I will tag you on instagram when I finish it right along with one of my recent pieces bless ya😊
Hi and thank you for learning me how to crochet I have been crocheting for about 4yrs now and still learning this is my 1st time doing the star blanket its beautiful how many rows do you do or do I just keep going till I think it's big enough thank you xxx
hello.sorry my english is not so good.in the top allways in the Change a row a stick two air Moshes and in the next two sticks two air meshes worked.thank you.petra from austria
After row 4, I want to add a different color. Should I slip into the top of the chain 3 with the original color and slip over into the chain 2 space (the "v") with the new color? I would like to take a photo to show you if that would look alright. Just want to make a nice transition.
Hi...im from Denmark and startet to crochet from your videos... They are so easy and helpful....i have to ask if you have made a video of this primflower, i would so much like to crochet a blanket with these flowers.
Thank you very much for a wonderful tutorial!!! 💝 Just one question: how often do we do a peak with ONE treble - chain 2 - ONE treble? I'm using batik yarn, so I don't need color change and that's why I got a bit confused 🤯
You're welcome 😊 The pattern works on a three round repeat; you should increase for two rounds and then every third round should have 'one treble, chain 2, one treble' in the peaks.
Hiya, thank you for another great tutorial. Can't wait to try this one, It's beautiful. The wool looks gorgeous to work with. I've ordered my wool pack for the CAL, looks like this will wool will be my next order ☺️. Hope all ok. Take care and lots of love. Xxx
I really love this pattern! I was wondering if there was any way you could creat a tutorial on finishing this blanket as a square. I’m not sure if that makes sense, but essentially.. is there a way to crochet a square around the star?
I'm glad you like it 😊 This is not something I've seen done before and I don't think there is a pattern for it per se, but I imagine it would involve filling in the spaces between the points by using stitches of different heights and then working on top of these. Another option would be to use the star as an appliqué and attach it on top of an already square blanket.
Thank you there are so many different colour combinations, maybe you could have a look on different yarn sites and play around with colours or visit your local yarn shop :)
