Hi guys. Today I would like to show you how to crochet baby lovey. It's EASY beginner friendly tutorial. You will need chenille yarn, hollow fiber, fluffy yarn called Mink from YarnArt, black cotton yarn, scissors, needles, white sewing thread, two buttons for eyes and 5 mm crochet hook and 6.5 mm crochet hook.
I will use single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet in this tutorial.

I am a beginner and I absolutely love your video tutorials! I want to make this lovey to match a blanket I made using Bernat Baby Blanket yarn weight 6. However, the lovey ruffles up instead of laying flat. I am using a size 7mm hook. Is there a way I can modify this pattern to work with my bulkier yarn? Perhaps if I make less stitches in each corner it won't bunch up?? I would appreciate your advice. Thank you.

Hello, thank you! ❤ I think it is the same bulky yarn. The yarn what I used is bulky 6.

@@tommyssheep Thank you for replying sooo quickly. I must be doing something wrong then. The nice thing about crocheting is how easy it is to rip and start anew! I will keep trying, perhaps with a bit smaller hook. I love your tutorials and patterns! You are clear and to follow.

@@deetoo8440 Thank you! 😍 keep trying it 😉 just need to practice it. You must always get two more stitches in each round. I mean between the corners.. it's a square system. The instructions for the square basket may help you.
