I am 67 years old i have been crocheting since I was about 8, I have never seen a bag that is so simple and so beautiful. You are very talented! I will be making one very soon. Thank you so much for sharing
You are right this is a super bag and so brilliant. Thanks to all the grandma's out there who came up with this idea. and thanks to you for getting yours to show you how to do it. Love love this.
This is so cool! I made a pair of the socks that are crocheted flat then sewn into shape just like this. They're SO comfortable, fit perfectly and actually feel cushioned to walk around on my hardwood floors. The socks stitch up in 2 days whereas it takes me a week to knit socks. I really want to make one of these bags now too ^_^ Love your videos!
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. I’ve been searching for over 2 years for a good tutorial on the windmill bag and yours is the first decent one I’ve found, and in English too. Super easy to follow along. I also love the size. I started making this over a year ago, but put it off to the side because it was way smaller than I wanted. This is my first video of yours I’ve seen and can’t wait to check out more of your content. Starting with the Jacobs’ Ladder stitch. Love your enthusiasm. New subscriber here 😊
@@simplefaithanddaisies would love to take credit Lol, but that’s actually what it’s called. Made mine and it came out beautifully. Love the yarn and the design. I crocheted the handles though as I wanted longer straps. Thanks again for a great and easy to follow tutorial 😊
I Love the yarn that you used!!! However, I did not have any, so I used what I had and used Bernat Blanket yarn!!!! I made the first one With the Jacob's Ladder and the second without! They are Both so AMAZING and a great larger size. I'm thinking about doing a smaller one, too. Just to switch it up and because I'm running low on the yarn I have. Thank You so much for doing this pattern!!!!! Working on my 3rd right now!!!!
I love that you not only took the time to show the panels on the floor but you also created a PPT style slide. Your accent & enthusiasm had me smiling for the whole video. Thank you for this amazing pattern, i will definitely be trying it out.
Thank you again! ❤ I teach my viewers how I would like someone explaining it to me, hehehe! I think that's why I take time in explaining things, but happy it helps and that you like it! I hope not to make many mistakes when talking, English is not my first language but I try my best! My Brazilian accent will always be with me hehehehhe ❤❤
@@brunaticality Your english is perfect.... don't even worry about it 🥰 & your accest is adorable..... Thank you once again....look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Love it when a tutor explains with so much enthusiasm! Love the bag too of course and now this is my next project because you have convinced me to make one! 😃
I used to make these in the 70's but i added lining with pockets inside... great tutorial! Only thing i would suggest is an invisible stitch to join when ending
This is awesome! Got to try it. I love that you gave the dimensions of the panels, so whatever yarn we use, we can make sure to adjust the number of stitches and rows to get that measurement.
I love the way it looks by the way it is put together. So unusual and unique! And the beaded handles are so perfect!! I’m subscribed now and will be looking forward to seeing what else I can learn from you!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PATTERN!! Considering doing it with 2 panels of worsted weight yarn and 2 of tshirt yarn and seeing how it turns out (since I don’t have enough tshirt yarn for the whole bag 😅).
You can turn any old T-Shirt into yarn yourself, there are a couple of excellent tutorials on YT. Thrift stores are your friend. ;) Aside from that, you can absolutely use any kind of yarn and just work to the size you want.
I made this bag a couple of years ago using Tunisian crochet method, it turned out beautiful and so simple to make, I had tons and tons of nylon ribbon in various colours so that is what I used to make the bag, no need for a lining because there is no stretch with nylon, thank you for sharing, take care and stay well.
Made this bag with a baby blue chunky acrylic yarn and some other type of yarn that has the texture of a gritty carpet(a friend of mine gave it to me she got it from an estate sale it had no label). Beautiful bag and the easiest bag pattern I’ve ever made
I am a new subscriber and that bag is so cute. I needed a quick easy simple bag to make simply because my purse is literally falling apart. This is the perfect bag to make. Thank you so much for sharing this bag.
Just started making this. Which cord would you recommend for the handles, and how long would they be made? What is the best way to attach them? Also what are the panel measurements? Thank you.
I really enjoyed this video. Brunch seemed genuinely surprised and happy that her bag turned out well. She made me want to go out and get yarn right away to try one for myself.
I made this bag with cotton yarn and it worked. It turned out adrable but my yarn doesnt glow like yours, so im a bit disappointed. I tried to find a yarn similar to yours but i couldn't. Still, i'm glad i finished it.
It looks very nice with so much texture and color! I came across a solid granny square version a few years ago in the All Crafts Channel where it is made with 16 squares and called the Inga Bag. Check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s8NW_-QxtDg.html
I love, love this bag and can't wait to try it! And it's a very nice gift she's gonna love it. Sorry tht I can't tag you after I try making this bag but I don't have a channel nor am I on any of the other social media platforms. I just like to watch RU-vid. I'm an older person and just like to crochet or try to any way. But I'm so glad tht I stumbled on to your channel. ❤ all that you crochet
Yes, you can do with a 4ply yarn, you can use the same stitch just follow the stitch count for the stitches used. You can also use any stitch, just follow the same size panel mentioned in the video.
Hello, Omgosh, your video popped up on my suggested videos, and I just had to watch this video and I’m so happy I did, I love love love the way that bag came out and look so easy to make, you made a subscriber out of me 😂😂 Thank you for your video
