Great video you always make me laugh, you do such a great job at making these videos, you speak clearly and you show off you projects well. Thanks for another lovely video. Jensen is so cute. I loved his side eye at the camera. He has beautiful eyes. Regarding your mittens, I love the colour and pattern. I would think that the cables would add a bit more insulation to the mitts so perhaps you could call them Cozy Cable Mittens unless you already have mitts named that. Take care!.

Love your colors for the Westknits Sock along. I have narrow feet and thick calves, and I also did the 84 st sock. I started with 2.50 mm and the cuff was not working out. I ripped it all out and started again with 2.75 mm, then switched to 2.50mm for the woven slips/brick stitch section and the remainder of the sock, which was a lot more successful.

The colours in the mittens remind me of colours in Byzantine or medieval churches so you could find a name from that.

Your basket is lovely. I picked up one of the left hookery kits a while ago, I haven’t been able to finish my basket as it has caused me so much hand pain. I’m genuinely scared to go back to it.

Mine was like that too when I was using the bamboo hook. I really struggled. It was still a bit hard work but the clover amour but so much easier with a more ergonomic hook. I wishes I had started it with it! I started it at my parents though and forgot to put another one in. I would like to make some hanging baskets though, but not with the bamboo hook x x

I do like the crochet cardigan you are making, but how do you deal with changing colour and do you sew in ends or crochet over them? I have tried crocheting over them, but they pop out after a few months. Your crochet projects look so well finished.

Hi Lin, yes because of the granny squares the ends are not easy to just crochet over so I am sewing them in. It is a bit time consuming but well worth it as it makes sure all the ends are secure for a garment and I think it looks nice and neat as well. I will try and record a reel of me sewing in the ends next week x x
