In this video I am inviting you inside my new sewing space for a chat while I show you how I have been setting things up in my new area for creating all things Bee in my Bonnet.
Of course it's always a work in progress and I am forever arranging and organizing and then re-arranging and re-organizing but still...

When I moved to town after my husband died, I finally got all my sewing things together for the 1st time. Surprise..40 totes of mostly fabric..3of them held yarn..2 held crochet yarns..batting had been stored in a new garbage can, but leftover pieces would fill another one. I had no idea. Your set-up is quite orderly and together. Wood furniture is lovely with cheerful colours. Great idea! I hung a large batting which covered a new couch, as a quilt block holder. Found 2 solid wood bookcases that hold quilt books..patterns..some magazines. Been sewing since I was11. Now at 78 I still love to sew.

Yes, I liked your summer dress & and staying true to yourself: barefoot, yay you! It's how I am dressing this summer, in my own apartment, working on self-care...learning micro-crochet. X-STITCHING. Beginning to open moving boxes, sorting through, and finding places to store quilt & X-STITCH fabrics and notions for all 3 crafts. I'm glad I purchased shelving units on wheels as they are also useful in my kitchen as a movable baking supply pantry. Lori, it was fun for me to see you chose the purpose of each space and were able to make it comfy and practical! Including your precious grandchildren brings even more memories to all of you!.

OOOO.MMMM.GGGG. I was literally laughing out loud at the joy built into these craft rooms. You were coming out of the crochet room and I shouted at the screen "Where is the Cross Stitch Room?!?!" Then, you answered me. You can tell that you put your heart and soul into those adorable rooms!! Your creativity and charm are spread throughout that upstairs crafting and sewing dream loft. Oh my word!!!! I just accidentally landed on your sewing space tour. What amazing rooms. You are such a creative & talented lady. God has definitely blessed you with many abilities. My goodness. I am speechless! But let me try to tell you how absolutely lovely your sewing tour touched me. I have done many crafts over the years. All kinds. Never had a craft room or even a tiny closet. Everything in totes. But in my mind, your rooms are what I dreamed of. I would not be able to go to bed at night. What a glorious tour. Thank you. Thank you for this fun tour. My husband just finished my sewing room in April and it is full of ALL things LORI HOLT. I have 7 children and have been quilting for 21 years , I enjoy cross stitch as well and thanks to you about a month ago I learned to crochet a granny square and have almost finished my first pillow. Can’t wait to learn punch needle next. Blessing, sweet friend and thank you for all you do, It just brings me so much joy.

I have a vintage 72 drawer library card catalog that I use to keep my fat quarters in. They are organized by color. Also rotary cutters and smaller rulers are kept in a drawer. Absolutely love it. Has saved me hours 😊. Love your sewing space.

What a wonderful space you have made…so inspiring and joyful❤. I have loved your vintage style for years and have turned my quiltmobile THE BEE HIVE into a vintage space to enjoy! My husband and I live in the old farmhouse his grandfather built in 1913 for his new bride so I’m blessed to be able to enjoy the best of both worlds…a home filled with antiques and memories in every space and a fun and cheery quiltmobile for my crafting.
