My sample looks pretty good. I started crocheting about a month ago and struggled with tension. Holding the yard the way you showed in the first video really helped me with it.

I always struggle with half double crochet, even in this video… can you help me out or give some tips?

Hello. I would have to see how you crochet to offer any valuable tips, but one of the issues may be your tension. If you crochet tension is too tight, then you may have a hard time pulling the yarn through all 3 loops on the hook. Go back to part one of this series to see about proper crochet tension. Also, you can slow the video down by going to settings (the gear icon below the video) and click on "playback speed". Choose 0.75 and that will slow the video down so you can see better. I hope that helps!
