Hi i love your videos... bdway i wanted to add 1 more round for these bag... can you give me what pattern to follow please? Cause i wanted mine to be more bigger since im only using 4mm rope yarn... tnx a lot
Hello Scott, I am not sure, how to make it bigger. This would be a new pattern and I should try it before telling you. Maybe you could repeat round 9 one more time and then the bag should be bigger.
I just purchased this pattern and I'm having trouble with stitch counts. It's clear until round 4, where the stitch pattern contains 3 stitches (2sc, 1 sc), but we're supposed to end with 22 total. Then in round 5, the stitch pattern contains 4 stitches (2sc, 1sc, 1sc), but we're supposed to end with 29 total stitches. I'm not sure where I'm going wrong, but I can't make it make sense. Can you please help clarify? Thank you!
Hello Marie, The only thing you have to do is to repeat the compositions (2sc, 1sc, 1sc) as many time as it is said. The end of the round will not be at the same place after every round.
@@simonacrochet The problem is the math is incorrect. For round 4, 3 stitches (2sc, 1 sc) x 7 times equals 21, not 22. And for round 5, 4 stitches (2sc, 1sc, 1sc) x 7 times equals 28, not 29. I guess I'll just add an extra 1sc, but that should be clarified in the pattern especially if people are paying for said pattern.
Hello, I am not adding zipper to this bag. I have other video tutorial. how I am adding a zipper to another bag. The name of the video is "How to sew a zipper in crochet clutch"" Take a look here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VrolTbvVFrc.html
I did not cut the cord. My cord just ended, so I added a new piece to the project. It is the same with the yarn. When you finish the yarn, you add the new one :) Does it make sense?
Hello, I never made this bag bigger, but if you want to make it bigger, you could try this: Leave round 9 the same: Round 9: *2 single crochet in 1 stitch, 11 single crochet; repeat from * 4 times. And then repeat this round two more times. So it will be rounds 10 and 11. And then make the same as in my round 10: Round 10: Make 48 single crochet. And the start making the sides of the bag: Round 11: Make 48 single crochet working only in the back loop. (48 stitches at the end of the round) NOTE: In round 12 make the stitch that was shown in the previous page. You will have to make the stiches in the middle of the stiches that are below. Not in the loops, but in the middle of the stitches. Round 12: Make 48 single crochet. (48 stitches at the end of the round) I hope this makes sence. If you have more questions, please let me know. Best wishes, Simona
Hello Yvonne, You can order the cord on MonoMey Studio cord. It is shipping all over the world, also to South Africa. And shipping is free. You can get the same cord here: www.monomey.com/shop/macrame-cord-6mm/2
Hi, I’m trying to make the little round purse but I’m getting stuck on row five I don’t know if I’m not hearing right or it’s not being explained is the rule five the whole thing two single crochets and each stitch or is there a combination of some thing else I’m not getting it I’m stuck so if you can explain it then I can continue and finish
Here are the instructions for the rounds 5 and 6: Round 5: *2 single crochet in 1 stitch, 2 single crochet, repeat from * 10 times. 2 single crochet. At the end of this round you should have a circle with 42 stitches. Round 6: *2 single crochet in 1 stitch, 6 single crochet, repeat from * 6 times. At the end of this round you should have a circle with 48 stitches. I hope this helps :)
Yes, you can use other cord too :) For crocheting this bag I used 6 mm cord. If you use 3 mm cord and use the same pattern, then the final bag will be smaller :) You can check my other videos that I created using 3 mm cords :) I have more crochet bag tutorials :)
