Hello! I am a young crocheter and when I was younger favorite animals were pigs so when I saw this videos when I was four I wanted to make this! Well after 9 years later have finally understood how to create this and I want to thank you for this videos because I made my childhood dream come true!
You're the best in explaining how to crochet just EVERYTHING!!!! I'm from Germany and no one can do it better than you. No German and as far as I've searched for no one in English.. 😙
You are such a great teacher! I shared you’re video with me niece who is wanting to learn to crochet. I’m making the pig doll right now and plan on making a dress as well. My daughter collects pigs so I’m excited to surprise her ❤
I think your clothes turned out super cute :) I'm just learning to crochet clothes myself. I just did a bikini and a beautiful blouse/sweater. Doll stuff IS tricky. I, like you, try to figure it out myself. I'm quite proud of the pinafore I crocheted for my Alice in Wonderland doll I designed. Of course, there are NO patterns for doll pinafores, heh....at least that I could find anyway, so I had to wing it [shrug]. Turned out cute. Anyhoo...thanks again for another great FREE pattern! :)
oh thank you for that! I debated if I should put up a tutorial since I'm just figuring things out myself, but I think I made the right choice and at the very least another pig gets a dress, lol and you're right it is tricky so I was VERY happy that I could get 2 sleeves the same, lol so now I have to make pants and see how that works out, haha Thanks so much Poenut, your messages have been so kind and very appreciated
I absolutely love the pig and the dress. You are amazing and you have clothing skills! I have made many of your animals and everyone loves them. I'm getting ready to search for a Unicorn per my daughter's request. I hope you have one! Thank you for sharing your skills with us!
You are so talented! I have learned almost all of my crochet stitches from you. I do needle felting but do not know how to make clothes. These clothes that you make are perfect. I've done the hats and the cape. I LOVE them. Now I'm going to make this dress and vest. Please do more clothes and hats. How do you know how many of what stitch to use? How do you adjust the sizes? My felting creatures are different sizes. You are a GREAT teacher!
thanks! I'm slowly getting to the hippo. I do have the older Little Bigfoot pattern here on youtube but it's going to be revised in the next few months. It's here in this playlist close to the bottom ru-vid.com/group/PLA358359E979CD180
Hi Sharon I just absolutely love your work the outfits are for your pigs but can I use them on the bears? I’m looking for different outfits to put on them. Also thought I make them a size bigger . So please tell me what I should do.. I would think it would either same size or a bit bigger for larger bear or for the original size bear.
Sharon I love your work, your tutorials are so easy to follow. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on a dinosaur amigurumi. Like a t-rex or triceratops. My son wants one and I still haven't found one. Pleasseee!!!
I don't have a dinosaur pattern yet but when I get one designed I will make a video of course I just can't promise a date as I'm kind of booked up at the moment, sorry about that
My daughter is about to make your amigurumi elephant from your crochet along video. Will these clothes fit the elephant? Thanks for your videos, my daughter is so proud of herself when she completes one of your projects.
+Raven Borstad the elephant is smaller than these pigs so the clothes would be quite loose. I'm so happy to hear your daughter is enjoying the videos, that makes me happy!
hi Sharon I finished the big foot bunny and starting making the dress for the bunny with the basket of carrots and I think the dress must be the wrong size for the bunny I made. or I did something wrong. help please
try a bigger hook. Also try a gauge sample before starting the dress. Make a circle with the yarn you made the bunny with then make a circle with the yarn you want to make the dress with. Are they the same size? If so, start the dress. use a bigger hook if you want the dress a bit loose and not so tight. If you need help making a circle, just follow the first 4 rows of the bunny's head.
