your ideas are so gorgeous, I started doing the body, wait to see how it ends :) ! Thanks for your super nice and easy explanations, you really know how to make yourself understood, I mean, I don't have much experience with the crochet but watching you it makes my learning way easier. And your patterns are so lovely, I just fall in love with all of them at the beginning. Keep inspiring others!!!!
Sharon Ojala, You are the best teacher EVER! I've made Coralline, with the black hear, think I got the name right. And gave it to me 1 year old niece. She kept kissing it and just simply loved her. Since then I've been fallowing you. You are quick and to the point for us that know crochet. THANK YOU, so very much! I didn't get a picture of my Coralline, to show you. But I do have pix of Little Red Riding Hood Mouse, Grandma Mouse, and the Wolf. I'll post them soon. THANKS FOR THE FUN!!!
I'm just so happy to read your message, thank you for taking the time to write. I really appreciate it! I'm very glad you are enjoying the patterns, that means a lot ~ Happy Crocheting!!
Sharon, thank you for this awesome tutorial. This is my first time crocheting an animal and it’s coming along great. I can’t read patterns too well so these RU-vid videos are very helpful. Looking forward to more video tutorials from you.
I must tell You, I was Very Satisfied in the Video instructions. You showed different techniques and The end product looked Perfect. Thank you and I will be viewing more of You work.
Hi! Just want to tell you that I am French and I don't really speak English. Despite my language, I have to say that your explanations are very easy to understand and the sound and images are perfect. So thank you very much for this great video! I can't wait to realize this cute little pig! Love it! :-)
I made the pig today. For anyone making this, consider doing less rounds in the middle of the head part of the pattern, or doing a few increase rounds in the middle. I used Premier Parfait chunky super bulky 6 yarn with a 5mm hook. It is weirdly oblong shaped. My preference would be for the head to be wider rather than long. The snout also turned out really cute by doing back post instead of back loop. Thank you for the pattern.
Got my pig almost done ! Unfortunately after 3 tries I could not get it to stand. So I shortened the legs, so now my cute pig sits lol, love your tutorials as always
Hi, I'm currently working on this video and I am loving it. So easy to follow and your pattern is super easy to read as well. Keep up the great work you are awesome! Can't wait to finish it!
Olá querida .aqui é Zenilda do Brasil..o bichinho do amigurime me picou...kkkkk.agora q encontrei vc , imagina então como estou feliz. Vc é ótima ...amo seus trabalhos.obg querida Deus te abençoe.
your tutorial is so easy to follow, my son asked me to make a pig for his teacher. it has turned out amazing better than I thought I could ever do. thank you very much.
sorry, I missed your last question. It's just a matter of yarn and hook size. No 2 amigurumi will turn out exactly the same. If you're using a different brand of yarn or weight of yarn that will also effect the size. Thanks for asking!
Sharon you are amazing. So calm in explaining tutorials. You have been my life saver through covid. Keeping my mind and hands busy. Listening to you is the best therapy ever. Thank you for taking the time. Are you on a specific site with just all your tutorials??
OMG these are adorable. Remind me of the Griswald's from European Vacation. I want to watch all of your videos and make everything. Just love your channel.
I'm so glad! These older videos don't explain that the written pattern link is in the description box of each video. If you don't need to watch a video it's nice to know there are written instructions too :) I'm glad you are enjoying what you see so far!
Precioso!
I'm doing this guy at the moment, I did your elephant last week and I have never had a pattern that was so easy to follow before. Do you have a zebra/ horse pattern/ tutorial at all?
my daughter loves piggies! I should make one fro her birthday! silly question, are you near water? I can hear waves and is really soothing... thanks for the great tutorial!
ive followed the video and the written pattern, made two so far. the body is suppose to be bigger than the body, although my bodies do seem to be smaller than the video and the pictures in the written patterns and I haven't done anything wrong, followed all directions exactly. I figured maybe I was doing it too tight, but had the same tension through all of it and both look the same. only two things I can think of is her tension is looser than mine which would give the bigger body than what I have or it really is suppose to look that way and the pictures and video is deceiving haha. they look awesome though
The one I made the body it's smaller, I think is her tension. _lh3.googleusercontent.com/E_b3h1qt67jCWxhIf1izSXmY2H86lB1FKoOmGEfQ7R5TZU-lBZk_Q5xIkSviIDdGp7iTyIaRuQ_
ya that's normal, the body is suppose to be smaller than the head, ive made a few of her little bigfoots and they are all like that and they look great
we don't join we just sc into the first st of row 2. If you look at one of my newest videos I show it a little more clearly. I set this link to open right at row 2 so you can see ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JBlWEHmJR8U.htmlm31s
***** thank you!!!! now...i am working on piggy.....what does my piggy look like he ate yours???? what are the dimensions of your sweetie???? mine looks way bigger than yours.... ???
I am new to the 3D pieces. I will be making the pig probably starting this weekend. I have a quick question though. Just watching the tutorial and when you say go through the same hole as you pull out how does the stitch stay where you came out of? Hoping that makes sense. It's probably just one of those things I need to do to see but was just wondering. My way of thinking is that it would just follow back through where you just came from. lol
I was wondering do you have the recent patterns on your website because you said you have updated some patterns? I truly love your patterns and they come out perfect well done Sharon and a big thank you for sharing them for free I am always on your website checking for more
yes I do and the written patterns for each of the videos are always linked inside the description box under each video. Or go to my blog , look to the right of the page for the blue tab called "Free Patterns" click on that and I explain how to find all the patterns I have available. www.AmigurumiToGo.com Thanks for asking :)
Very cute,I am going to make it!! I have a question : your Yarn is beautiful and I want to know if You know a web site Who ship the red heart yarn for international because we have not this yarn in France, thanks à lot for your fabulous work!!!
thank you very much :) I don't order my yarn online but I do know others that do. You can shop directly on www.redheart.com/ and here is their shipping rates as well www.redheart.com/contentPage#a_shipping Hope this was helpful
Hi again! Please can you tell me what is the best to do with the eyes? I am waiting for an order of secured eyes, but instead I am wondering if I could do the eyes as you've shown with yarns. Is this way makes a good result as well as plastic eyes! Just want to go on with this projet that I've started and stopped because of the eyes missing. Sorry for my bad English, I am Canadian French! Hoping you understand me well? Thank you for your help. :-)
oh sorry, I didn't understand what you meant. I never put the backs on mine, I just glue them in. I like doing that part after the doll has been made. For me it doesn't matter because my animals do not go to small children that could choke on them. I use the safety eyes with no backs and I also use yarn. I think both ways looks nice
No problem! Yes, my first idea was to put the backs. I wasn't sure if it could stay in place well with glue. I have a hot glue gun so I presume it should do a nice job. I'll try it if I decide to take off yarns eyes. I just want to finish this very cute pig right away! Love your vidéos. You are the first that I can understand, finally!!! Thank you for having answered me and for your patience! :-)
you are on the wrong video. The pigs with indents for eyes are a much larger pig and that video is here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-70-QWOuAALE.html
