Please, can you explain how to end the row with slip stitch and one chain. I end up too much increasing stitches in a row😭. Should slip stitch and 1 chain replace the last stitch in a row or it goes after, for example 8 increases

For the hat, do you mean 2 double crochets in one stitch when you say increase?? Or does it mean 2 single crochets in one stitch?? This is confusing me 😅😅

try this pattern for the hat. Rnd 1: 6 sc Rnd 2: 6 inc Rnd 3: (1sc, 1inc) x6 Rnd 4: (2sc, 1inc) x6 Rnd 5: (3sc, 1inc) x6 Rnd 4: (4sc, 1inc) x6 Rnd 5-8: 1sc all around Rnd 9: Front loop only, 3 dc in each stitch
I am using medium 4 yarn and with the pattern, looks like duck size will be bigger than in video. Any suggestions how to reduce size of duck? Like should I start with taking fewer sc in the round 1 and how should I go further ? Please suggest ❤
no most of the time in this tutorial if it’s in parentheses it means it is repeated pattern for example (1 sc, 1 dec) x7 means you do 1 sc in one stitch and 1 dec for the next one but repeat that process seven times. hope that makes sense!
make a magic ring. then chain 1, put 12 double in the magic ring then slip stitch in the first stitch. For Rnd 2, you need to do an increase, chain 2 first, then 2 double crochet in one stitch
