I just made this in black and used dark variegated blue to go around flower edges with single crochet. I tacked my flower closer to the hat and gathered the center of the flower before sewing it on. I love it so much I am making another one now, thanks so much!

Sadly I was really liking forward to this tutorial but, you don't explain how to do the magic circle to begin.then the color changes makes or hats to see what your doing..then there's music, then there's a crazy pattern behind your work. Just too much ! I don't think this is for those that are learning, or intermediate..?
kATHLEEN, this project is not good for a beginner, you should know at least the basic stitch of crocheting, if you like I can link you something easier
