I’ve been trying to design a mesh dress and this video is so helpful for the skirt increases! Exactly the silhouette I was looking for! I do want to make it mid calf length though so I’m going to experiment a bit with stopping or spaces out increases at some point. I’ll let you know how it goes if it works out! i’m plus size so my waistband will need to be bigger, does the amount of stitches need to be a certain multiple or like odd/even? i have a festival in a couple weeks so i’m gna try and make this for it im obsessed!!
Quick question, approximately how much yarn is needed for the size skirt made? I don't wanna get almost done and run out of yarn, and then discover that my dye lots don't match, because they were purchased at different times, so now the colors are screwy. Ya know? 🥰
yeaah i gotchu! i used the super savers jumbo yarn and this project took almost all of it. i would say about 93%? probably be a good idea to get more just in case 👍 hope this helps!
i started this and i connected the first chain together before even starting on the second row, is that gonna affect it at all or do you think itll be fine?
