I have been binge watching you Christa and I have enjoyed myself immensely. I am 74 and retired in Portugal, having lived in Mozambique and South Africa all my life. I am a knitter and sadly never learned crochet. However, my favorite craft is cross stitching. I love your podcast, thank you so much.

Love that succulent and the big cactus. Yes was wondering about that shawl as well. Love the colors and it looks so soft and beautiful. Hair is looking great 👍. C2C coat looks pretty large on you....in fact you are swimming in it but that only means you can really bundle up in it. I'm sure what ever way you finish it , it will look absolutely beautiful on you. Looks so soft and comfy. Love the second granny square. The darker yarn sets the rest of it off and pulls the darker color in fabric out. Love the sparkle yarn. Your hugs 🤗 really made a sad day more bearable. Thank you so much for the love and hugs.......you are a very special woman.

This summertime FAL sounds like a PERFECT idea to me, as I'm going to need all that time to finish all the started projects I've got going on :) I'm finding that I have a tendency to become a wee bit bored with things and feel no hesitation to switch things up a bit by starting a new project. You mentioned school being on 1/2- term or midterm at this time . What kind of schedule are the schools on in Nairobi, Kenya? Different schedule then in the US I’m sure. Here the year typically begins anywhere from mid-August to very early September (just after the Labor Day holiday which is the first Monday in September) and ends between late May to mid-June with the summer off?. There are some districts experimenting with year-round schedules with other vacation times, but it is troublesome as the camp and day programs are available for the typical school year and parents don’t have options for childcare.) Summer Vacation!!-loved it as a student but needed it desperately as a teacher!) The new school is great, very inviting. I loved the balcony space and creative use of it! I love student-directed learning! (As a retired teacher of blind/visually impaired students I look at safety a lot. I noticed the tables seem to have quite sharp corners, maybe that’s me being extra observant or picky you choose. I would be concerned more for your little guys.) I was glad to see the ramp and elevator. I’d love to see more if you go back. What is the student teacher ratio? What is included in the curriculum? Would your children mind switching? If I remember correctly from a previous video I think the new school seems less expensive. I thought the current one your children attend is $45,000 per child. Your kids could walk or ride bikes! Is there free public education that is at least adequate for those who can’t pay for private schools? How long is the school day? In the US it averages 5.5-7 hours. Welcome to all the new peeps!

What is the usual class size? It looks smaller than in the US. I like the granny with the dark brown square better than the other. It seems to be a better match for the fabric.
