Thank you for your easy to follow tuition. I couldn't stop until I finished the shawl. I used an Aran weight yarn for a winter shawl and it took no time at all.

I'm 73 and taught myself to crochet when I was 19 but all I ever was able to make were blankets and scarfs. I've made many beautiful blankets but always wanted to make a shawl, but never knew how until I saw this one you show. I'm going to try and find your written instructions, it's not so easy for me now with some disabilities. You are a wonderful teacher. Thank you so much.

Thank you for an easy to follow shawl pattern, it was just what I was looking for. Easy to follow, a big hook and I liked listening to your voice. If I don’t like a you tubers voice then I can’t follow a pattern. I made this for my mum who is 94 and in a care home. I slightly changed the stitches, where you did your ‘drop’ stitch I wrapped the wall round twice and made that stitch longer and I did a shell pattern around two sides and the single stitch along the other side. I don’t know if you can see what I have done clearly on my photo but I do need to wash and press it and it might look better. Thank you for this lovely shawl. Well maybe you can’t see what I made as can’t work out how to download the photo lol good night from the uk, 😊😴😴 and I will be back for more makes and you never know I might work out how to download my photos x

That middle drop stitch is like a spike dc but idk if it’s called that in a cluster or not. No matter tho your instructions were super clear and easy to follow

I think it's called a granny spike stitch. I need to do a little more research but I just called it a cluster drop stitch for now....haha. 😊

Hi. Iv’e made many shawls. Never did a granny. How do you think not chaining at all between the clusters would work. I don’t chain in my blankets. It works perfectly nice pulls the stitches in tight and closes this gaps and hole. Be nice to see how that works out with a shawl. I can’t see that shawl. Did it get bulky and heavy at the top! I love Roll with it. Many it’s jade with it. The tweed stems thicker that’s the Showtime Theater. Etc Thanks.

Love this tutorial! Easy to follow! I am working on my first ever shawl because of this video. Thank you! Also, do you chain 5 first then turn your work or turn your work then chain 5? Lastly, I watched your tutorial on how to make tassels. But how do you add them, along with the beads, onto the shawl?

Thank you! 🙂💚 Sorry for the late response, did you ever figure it out? Once you create the tassel leave/create a tail at the top. You can then place beads on the tail and then using the same tail tie it to the shawl, looping it through the stitch in the corner. I hope that makes sense if not I can make a short video explaining it, just let me know.
