I followed the pattern exactly, so idk if it's user error or not

Made this with skinny glow in the dark yarn and a 2.5 hook. Added a tongue. Turned out pretty cool. Will def reuse pattern with blanket yarn some day.

It worked great! I say if you are a beginner and you go by seeing things this isnt really good but she does a great job explaining stuff and my snake turned out pretty good! (I made the tail longer just because I was using thicker yarn)

If you do (2sc, Dec) on R11 the head will be attached so much smoother 😊 I hope this helps

i made a beautiful red snake with this pattern, except i made it A LOT longer, i used an entire ball of yarn for the whole snake, and 90% of that was for his body/tail❤

I love this pattern! It was quite easy to follow along with except sometimes I couldn’t keep up and that problem was easily fixed by just pausing, haha! I made three of these in different colors. One problem I had was that I had to redo most of it because I use safety eyes and I forgot to put them in before I went too far on the tail. :) Wishing a great new year to you.
