This is one of the clearest cat hat tutorials I have ever seen!! I bought a pattern on Etsy and your tutorial is way easier to follow and created less gaps.
I just started crocheting and this was a super easy tutorial to follow. For some reason though mine came out totally flat and i just threaded a piece of yarn in the stitches just above the ear holes and pulled it tight a bit and that did the trick. Kitty looks super cute.
Just finished mine, and it's perfect on my little kitty 😊 thank you so much for the tutorial! He's wearing it now while he's a bit sleepy, so he doesnt mind wearing it yet hahaha

I took some yarn and a darning needle and sewed around the row above the ear holes, cinched it up, tied it, and it curved perfectly around my cats head. You can adjust it to fit your cat before you tie the knot. Hope this helps!
Mine used to look flat too, and it was bc I did an extra row of two DC😢 And at the very first row I did 9 sc instead of 8, that made me confused and it made it flat
I just finished it! I love it! I’m not sure if I crochet too tight though because it’s a little small for my chihuahua and I definitely thought her head was smaller. I went for the 10 chains on the ear holes and they’re a bit too small🥲. But she looks cute with it on
Great tutorial, easy to follow and a great pattern! However having to listen to the same song over and over again for nearly 20 minutes was not pleasant.

hi, thank you so much! I used acrylic worsted weight yarn for this tut, but this one is a non brand ones :( I would recommend you to use 5 ply milk cotton yarn (choose the one with cow on the label), it's one of the best yarn for beginners, happy crocheting 🥰

hi! im making this hat for a little doll but he doesn't have ears! could i possibly sew some yarn where the ear holes are to cover the holes or is there a way to make the wavy brim without make the ear holes?

Mine too.. After finished i just realized that ini the round 3 we have to do double crochet or dc in one hole then we do 2 dc in a hole. Then we back to 1 dc in a hole then 2 dc in a hole
