i made this and it came out adorable ty!! but i also added a detachable crossbody strap!! i made puff flowers to look like strawberry blossoms and used them as “buttons” to hold the strap. for that, ch 12, slip stitch into first ch to make a loop, ch as long as u want, ch 12 and slip into 12th ch from hook again for 2nd loop, then hdc all the way around !! the loops should hold well onto the flowers

This pattern is so cute! I did make one change and instead of a regular slip stitch I did a invisible slip stitch (I didn’t like the look of the diagonal line that the regular slip stitch left) this pattern is so adorable and I will definitely follow more of your patterns! 🌷✨

i had a question about the chain 1 we do after the slip stitch at the end of every round: does that count as your first stitch of the round or does the first single crochet you do count as the first stitch? I'm just starting out and this was confusing me a little. can't wait to make this as a gift for a friend :)

I’m on row 19 and my strawberry is flat with the little ruffles created by the increases. Did I count my stitches wrong since it is not shaping into a 3D form? So in love with this pattern just not sure I’m doing it right haha! Ty for the help!! :)
@@madygascar Mine looked like that too! It starts becoming 3D once you get to the decrease section! I don't know how it works, but it's magical! Mine looks 3D after the decrease section! :)

Hi there! I think this is really cute, I know you said not to sell the bag pattern and I won’t, but I was wondering if I can use your handle pattern? I love the ruffles and I would like to add it to my other pieces :)
it will look a little bit like a rounded hexagon since you start with 6 single crochets and every round with increases will have six increases but from my experience with doing round crochet projects with this method it will overall look round in the end
