Thank you Claire. Last year, I made your famous knitted dressed frog, with amazing success!!! And yesterday I bought this crochet pattern for the same frog from Etsy, together with the duckling and the flying fox…. I swear your patterns are the best. I knew how to crochet before, but learned how to knit JUST to make your beautiful creeters, now I prefer it as they look smoother. But I LOVE this pattern as well, not many good crochet patterns out there. I KNOW I will end up buying ALL you patterns. Thank you. From Spain 🇪🇸 😘
I learned how to knit just to make her patterns, 😅and believe me it paid off. Knitted creeters look so much smoother and softer than the crocheted ones. Give it a try and learn!! You won’t regret it. 😊
Thank you so much for this!! I was having a little bit of trouble figuring it out and was contemplating to message you for help 🫣🥴. But this video is perfect!! I love all of your patterns and having so much fun making them and staging them for the grandkids 🥰
So cute!! Trying to follow the directioFor the back, do you go round and round in the same direction or flip it over and go in the opposite direction for each row?
Please can you help me. When I get to doing the back bumps they are always to the right hand side and not in line with the eyes!!!what am I doing wrong? I have done it dozens of times and it is always the same😢 I wonder if I am crocheting in the round wrongly? But I don’t know how else to do it. I am now running out of yarn!!!!!!!
I have the same issue. I messaged the author on Etsy today. I also think my issue is in the rounds. I think I will try to write out the patter on piece of paper to see how the rows align. Maybe I need to slip stich each row instead of crocheting in the spiral, I haven't tried that yet.
Hi. I messaged the author yesterday. She was so helpful. Here is her reply:- Because you are working (correctly) in a spiral then nothing aligns ~ what you do is twist the crochet back in shape when you’ve finished, aligning everything back to where it should be. You’re doing it absolutely correctly ~ it’s the shaping at the end that you need to do to complete it all 👍🏻💝 Hope this is helpful x
I am having trouble figuring out where to sew to get the cheek shape and the symmetry along the cheeks and body. Do you think you could provide an additional resource that maps the sewing path on the stitches or something?

Hi I just subscribed to your channel 😊 this froggy is really cute , do you have a tutorial or written free pattern, if not I'll have to make my own pattern 💙🕊️🍵 thank you for your time and creativity
❤ I already acquired the pattern, now yes, my crochet is ready, this design makes me so happy, I couldn't do it with the previous pattern, thank you very much Claire, and with this video it will be much easier!
@@Sokicrochets try using sewing thread (or a very fine yarn) rather than the yarn you used to crochet with. I sometimes do if I find my yarn is too thick, it makes for much neater seams ☺
The crochet frog pattern I purchased on Ravelry, doesn't have the tummy tube; it starts at two stitches up from the "throat chain," by slipping "the stitch" through. Then dc in the 10 chain. I can't figure out how to add the second color and what "the stitch" is. I'm now at an impasse!
I feel the same way. I regret the purchase and cannot recommend this dealer at all. If you have problems with the instructions, you are left alone. The few videos are blurry and don't help. The good reviews come from their community, they like everything..
