if I walked past you in the street and you weren't wearing anything crocheted I would not have picked you as a crocheter, and you know what? that's what I like about our craft, unless you see it in our hands then you can't pick us out of the crowd...nicely done...nice and simple..you came across my feed for the first time today..I'll have to have a look at your other work..oh, and I'm a crocheter as well..always looking for something different to make...good luck..

I love it! I'm impressed that you didn't seem to take it too hard when you realized that your first make would be too heavy for a summer garment. And I love that, instead of frogging the whole thing & having to put it in some semblance of order, you simply worked from what had to be frogged! So clever! I'm really enjoying your vids! it looks great. changing the stitch to a lighter one was definitely worth the frogging. also 15:08 that skeleton hand candle holder is so cool.

Found this somewhere on the internet: Finished item weight, Divided by total skein weight, Times total skein yards, Equals total yards used for final item. ( FIW / TSW x TSY = TYFI ) I use this A LOT 😊

It's good to see that it happens to the best of us! Sometimes I get discouraged when I have to frog something and start over because it either doesn't fit right or didn't come out the way I expected. But now I'll take it as part of the process.

Old fogey here, and new subscriber. I just wanted to tell you how much fun your channel is! You are so lively and engaging, and I love your patterns. Not so much into all the horror vibe, but my husband is a horror geek. LOL. It’s fun for me here, though. I’m going to buy this pattern. I came over to get some inspiration to continue on reading a pattern for six rows . The tutorial took me to row six, now I have to read the pattern. I know there is some good to this I just acting like a zombie about it. Light bulb! I COULD PUT A ZOMBIE MOVIE ON WHILE FINISHING THE ROWS. 🎉 You Rock! ❤

You have inspired me! I am almost done making my patchwork sweater then I'm going to be using the Neon Stripes and Bright stripes to make another lighter sweater! I LOVE all your videos, I watch them during my lunches while crocheting. I've made a few work friends because I bring my projects (what ELSE are you going to do with an hour lunch? It takes me 15 minutes at the most to eat so I'm bored the rest of the time)

ugh i also love a chunky seam, im glad im not alone! i always end up slip stitching my pieces together because i love the slightly puckered look on the right side and the chunky, very obviously handmade seam on the inside. gives our finished works so much more personality! i'll have to look up how to do the zig zag stitch

Love the mesh and solid rows. Red and Black are my favorites. I have the whole Friday the 13th collection in Blu-ray plus a whole collection of horror movies. Binge watching is fun and crochet is even funner lol. The black backstitching reminds me of Frankenstein movies. I love it

Do you join your yarn when you run out of the current skein? Yes, the heaviness! Been there, done that! Sometimes you shouldn't finish a project if you don't love it. I love love the open stitches and that the red isn't a primary red but a richer kind of red. Horrendous! ;)

I use the russian knot to tie skeins of yarn together. It's simple and is easy to hide through out a project🎃 Totally agree with the red color!
