On the hook I have a make-along shawl that started during the Olympics (lol), a blanket that is missing 60 cm of trim (but I *finally* got the yarn to finish it!), and a beautiful Lord of the Rings themed shawl that I've used way too much yarn on and I am fine with that! On deck when these are done (and maybe sliding in before Goldberry...) I finally got some chunky yarn so I can do the Kima Cardi! I got a gorgeous wooden hook a month or so ago, so this project is finally coming together. So excited to get her on my hook and on me soon after!

My name is Edna. I learned to knit the basics as a child but haven’t done anything since. I learned to crochet last year from watching You Tube channels and a lot of help from seasoned coworkers who knit and crochet. I recently finished my first baby blanket in a Suzette stitch. I gifted it to the lady who motivated me to these new hobbies: knitting & crocheting. I came across your You Tube channel & and saw your Tunisian crochet tutorials. After seeing your reviews on Tunisian crochet hooks, I purchased the Denise interchangeable needles set , but not sure if I like the feel of them yet. My favorite color is blue, but with so many beautiful yarn colours to choose from it makes it hard.Thank you and stay safe!

My name is Mary and I have recently retired after years of teaching in the classroom and decided to learn a new hobby with my free time. Since I love fibers and the feel of yarn, I searched the internet to find a tutorial and that's when I discovered you and your wonderful channel. I completed my first project, which was your toasted marshmallow infinity scarf in a lovely terracotta. My favorite color palette would happen to coincide with autumn and envelop all the lovely shades of the forest.

Hi, Toni! I’m Maria and I’m a current crocheter, although a continual learner who was happy to pick up new tips from your recent Crochet Academy! It’s hard to have one favorite color! In blues, my favorite colors are slate blue and indigo blue. In greens, I love forest green and moss green. In yellows, I love mustard and buttermilk. In reds, gotta have crimson, and then brick red for something calmer. In oranges, I need tangerine and cantaloupe. In gray, I need steel and smoke. In browns, I love caramel and also a deep umber. For purple, my favorites are royal purple and Perkins’ Mauvine. You did say to be specific….

My favorite colors are: medium dark blue-teal, peacock blue and berry purples. Your patterns are always delightful 🙂

I just decided last week after seeing a crocheting short video on RU-vid that I was going to learn to knit and crochet. I watched hours of videos went to the store and was super confident I knew what I needed to start and it was gonna be so much fun.....well I was LOST in the isles after a few hours of trying to figure it out i just grabbed some yarn and crochet hooks and knitting needles and ran out the store defeated. Went home and tried the basics of both and found that I was really bad at it but wasn't giving up. I have kinda figured out the basic knitting stitch and I'm just gonna keep practicing until it becomes easier and then I'll move on and learn more stitches and finally create something beautiful I can be proud of. I just wanted to say thank you for making videos like this to help people like me. I need to find a good knitter and take them shopping with me so I can be taught what is what and what I need because that part has me lost no matter how many videos I've seen I just don't know what to get. I want to make a blanket. All the yarns I picked had needle sizes I couldn't find it was very intimidating but I'll get it. Great video, can't wait to be on a level like you!

I’m Kacie, a current crocheter, a new subscriber, and my favorite color is lavender! I really love how you included something you liked and something you thought we are knitters could work on at the end of the video. I find it hard to trust youtubers sometimes to give an honest opinion but it’s refreshing to see someone so genuine!

Big Hello, From the land Down Under. XX. My name is Michelle. I am a long-time crocheter, having learnt from my mother at a very young age, problem is I never progressed passed the basics. Enjoying the relaxation of the repetitive hand motions to relax but, no really paying too much attention. So, been in a Sydney 3 month lockdown I discovered your channel. I feel like I am crocheting with a friend when I crochet with you. I have purchased every book from your 14 Crochet Book Must Have list. I really liked the encouraging words like "take your crochet to the next level". so, I am for the first time paying attention to the details, and something I have never done before is unravelling errors. and, after completing just two projects so far, for the first time, I am really proud of my work! I feel sooooo good !!!!! Thankyou so much. so, I am definitely an aspiring crocheter. and you are my inspiration. XX I do not have a favourite colour, but, I do have a favourite colour combinations of Green & Brown, with accents of yellow, red & orange. I also like the combinations of white and blue.

I'm Courtney and I was first inspired to crochet when watching my great-grandmother as a little girl. Being left handed it was difficult for her to teach me so pre-youtube life I picked up books and watched her from a mirror view to teach myself. I took a break as a teen but picked it back up for stress relief in college, and I haven't stopped since.

Hi Toni! I'm Jenn, I'm a new crocheter - I took it upon myself to finally learn how to crochet around a month ago and I'm already obsessed! So far I've been making ear warmers, hats, scarves, I just finished my first pair of mittens over the weekend, and I can't wait to get into some bigger projects like shawls and cardigans (I've had my eye on the flatiron shawl and Veronica cardi for a while). My favourite colour is purple, I love dark aubergine, and I'm also a sucker for slate and charcoal grey. Thank you for your amazing videos, I've learned so much from you already and I can't wait to learn more!

Hi.....I've been crochet for more years than I think I want to say....LOL...Many. I'm a self taught knitter and just recently joined We are Knitters newsletter. I enjoy browsing thru their website. I'm not a "color" person. My favorite color is black but if I must say a "color" lets say GRAY....LOL I so enjoy watching you. I recently purchased your yarn from Sewrella. You taught me how to work tunisian stitches. I did make a ear warmer. I purchased a pattern from your website for the yarn I bought but it's so beautiful I'm afraid to ruin it. Thanks for all of your tutorials.
