I found Crockett years ago and have listened to them on and off a little bit, but I got the box set for Miami Vice and I've been bingeing it and I'm up to season 4 out of 5 and I had to pay Crockett a visit, again. Awesome as always. Jan Hammer would be proud. Keep it up!!!
Perfection.. 👌 2022.. I can only imagine Miami 1980s.. Speedboat's.. Sun.. Water jet's.. Color's.. And LADY'S.. And smiles.. But I wanna feel it.. Time machine's..? Any one..?? But anyway.. Greetings from Finland!!
The Drop 37:36, omg i am getting the Chills. Crockett, if you see this, i really hope you know that, if there is a heaven, if there is a nirvana, if there is a god, ill be there to tell them to let you in! This song makes me cry, fly, get the emotion that a usually just get i one moment, But this song! BRO!
Love Hip Hop over any music..Pink Floyd, over any band.. I make beats, produce, mix music... am influenced by soo many genres. I love synthwave. This album is one of my all time favorite albums of any artist. Sooo dope. I hope to hear more music from Crockett!
Not going to lie, this sounds a lot like Timecop1983. Cruise especially sounds like Timecop1983's Tonight. Now, saying that, this is a good thing, because Timecop1983 is MY inspiration to create music, and if he is yours as well, that can only be a fantastic thing. Timecop1983 is a great guy, and I am sure he appreciates others following in his footsteps. Well done Crockett! Any chance you will do a cover of Crockett's Theme from Miami Vice? I am sure that is where your name comes from :)
No way.. Timecop is not as good as this. I can't find one Timecop song that is nearly as good. Not sure where you are picking that up from there is a clear distinction in sound and quality.
Gungsta retrowave! All the album is amazing (after many listenings). Synths rule on it! Song writings are top notch. No fillers. Very "eghties" feel, sound with modern record abilities.
The dark, backlit palm trees aesthetic in a lot of ''80s synthwave media makes me really happy. It's so spooky and perfect here and in Hotline Miami and everywhere. It has the quality of an inversion of what we find fun and comforting, as if nighttime and city lights turn our old friends into looming alien ghosts. It's perfect.
I’ve only just discovered your sound. All I can say is better late than never. Your music creates so many images in my mind. It’s the soundtrack to a movie that never existed but it reminds me of the film Thief (1981) Opening scene: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aJIn7batAtc.html
