I forgot to tell you congratulations on your 4 years for RU-vid I haven't been here the whole 4 years but I have gone back and looked at old recipes can't afford to get cookbooks right now but would really love to. And probably packing up to move out of my home of 40 years this summer and I probably got two lives supply of cookbooks and most of them I'd really like to keep we'll see

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY! You have done a phenomenal job! I make your recipes pretty frequently and frankly, this recipe looks like the best one EVER for using franks. Oh we eat them, never been a big fan though lol. I know for a fact everybody in the house will eat this one too (with slight adjustments to hiding the onion and celery lol.) I just discovered your channel on RU-vid and have made a couple of your recipes. I am making this Crock Pot Hot Dog for tonight's dinner, looks so yummy. I just had to tell you, I put a new spin on fried cabbage last night!! We had beans with ham hock and sweet cornbread (jiffy hack). But I used bacon grease a slice of the meat of the ham hock, onions, carrots and corn, lots of butter, organic Cajun seasoning, salt and pepper, garlic powder, a little onion powder, I drizzled some tomato balsamic vinaigrette and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and I softened a cube of chicken bouillon and mixed that around, oh! It was so so good!! You definitely inspired me by watching your cabbage dish videos!! Thanks Catherine!! And I bragged about this chilli dog recipe! Definitely making it this weekend!!

I always look forward to your recipes. I have just finished the jello step on your triple lemon poke cake. I add an additional step after the jello. I put a can of lemon pie filling on top and refrigerate it for 3 hours or overnight. The next morning I make the lemon pudding and cool whip topping. It tastes almost like a lemon meringue pie This recipe is always requested by my friends and family. Thanks for all your recipes. ❤️. Wishing you many more years of success with your channel. ❤️

I never put celery in my chilli, I actually couldn’t eat chilli for a long time, so I’m so glad I can again and my little one loved a mild version I did one night… I gotta have beans in mine though!! Love it!!

I love home-made chili, too. and my favorite hot dogs are Nathan's brand as well! Also, I think we could modify this recipe to create a different version to add to the rotation.. Instead of making chili, you could use taco seasoning in the ground beef to make a cheesy hot dog taco casserole. :)
