He put the water buffalo to sleep, because indeed they can be cranky, and he is in the way so not to startle the buffalo he put it to sleep and drove around it. As he was shaving he noticed she was coming so he took up the knife to look alot "Cooler" and more impressive haha.

You recognized Reginald Velljohnson as Carl Winslow on "Family Matters." He was also memorable as Al Powell in "Die Hard." The last thing I saw him in, a few years ago, was "The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee," with Paul Hogan, Chevy Chase, and Olivia Newton John, in which they all played versions of themselves.

Fun fact: my cousing used to be a horse riding policeman here in Finland for some time. So they are still very much a real thing, at least in here. He has ever since then going after other kinds of careers. He went to a law school in Estonia.

Mick wasn't lying when he said he was fishing. Baramundi really are HUGE fish. And in the sequel (which is as good if not better than the first!), he fishes with dynamite, so....

Handkerchief around the neck is to keep the sweat from dripping down your back and can wet it to deal with the heat, cool reaction.

When we were in college, my sister occasionally washed some of her clothes in the tub if all the washers were being used. (We grew up in the Amazon and she learned how to do the clothes in the river, when we visited the tribes.

Both one and 2 were good. Walk About actually means just keep walking till you find yourself, no plans, no direction just go.

Paul Hogan & Linda Kozlowski pulled a "Brangelina". Paul Hogan was married with kids when he began his onset affair with Linda. Just like Brangelina, Paul & Linda's marriage was rocky due to Paul being an abusive A-hole. Eventually, they divorced

I love movies where u see the raw chemistry between the leads. The chemistry was so undeniable that that got married 2 yrs later when they became a couple in crocodile dundee 2 and for married. Bugs and poison ivy is the least of ya problem in Australia😂

love this movie. so many small subtle jokes like when he looks at Walter's watch, then 2 seconds later looks at the sky like he's using it to tell time. Hoping you get back to arcane soon!

Hogan married his Crocodile Dundee co-star Linda Kozlowski in 1990. He has five children with his first wife and one with his second wife, Linda. In October 2013, Kozlowski filed for divorce from Hogan, citing irreconcilable differences, with the divorce finalised in 2014.

Crocodile Dundee 2: Drug gang starts chasing them in NY, so goes back to Australia and they follow. Crocodile Dundee 3 In Los Angeles. Married, kid has elementary school problems. Crocodile solves them.

There is an actual steve Irwin(crocodile Hunter) movie called CROCODILE HUNTER COLLISION COURSE Paul Hogan also did a WESTERN with Cuba gooding Jr called LIGHTING JACK which is a forgotten gem 💎

She was already involved with Richard but they were not engaged. She was intrigued by Dundee, but her feelings were so new she was not sure WHAT she was feeling and just being more personal by doing this interview with him. I feel she was falling in love with him throughout the whole thing.

A scarf prevents sweat from running down & aids in cooling. In cooler climates it's a fashion accessory. In high heat areas it's a cooling option. The fabric of the scarf also plays big part. A 2oz Qiviut soft wool 8"x55" scarf might look & feel dainty, but it's insulation value is far superior to anything you can buy at the store. & Is a God-send in sub-freezing arctic weather.

I think you would love the movie The Gods Must Be Crazy. It's a funny, interesting movie about an African tribesman who has to walk to the edge of the world to give a glass Coke bottle back to the gods. He comes across other people with their own subplot, and a worthy story is born.

They had to wear a scarf around their neck so that their leather jacket didn't cut the skin on their throat, from turning their head. Looking for other planes all the time. You didn't have radar back then so you just constantly had to be looking around the sky for a plane that was ready to shoot you So anytime you see the old world war I pilot with the leather jacket and the scarf, that's why he had the scarf And you generally only see the British still wearing the scarf on the neck and Australians are British

Outback bars are just like that, I was there when I was young, beer and bbq every other day. You had to check the outhouse for spiders before you sat down and stayed off the pavement in the day, in case your shoes melted.

I'm just guessing, but that handkerchief on his neck is probably to absorb sweat, so it doesn't run down into his shirt then pants. The handkerchief can be rung out. Also in baseball I used to soak a small towel in ice water and wrap it around my neck on really hot days

A minor detail: when Dundee switches to the knife when shaving, he was just doing for the show. You know, to make himself seem like an alpha male who shaves with a giant Bowie knife. Sure, dry shaving with a regular razor is manly, but he just went the extra mile to impress the girl.

When was younger and cut grass I would wear a bandana to ether keep the sun off the back of my neck or if I kicked up a bunch of dust I would twist it around to cover my mouth and nose.

Neck sweat man.. its where the term "ring around the collar" came from. Folks that work out in the heat wear something around ther neck to so they don't ruin their shirts.

The two of them really had a relationship. She was involved then met him and like in the movie that was it. The second one is great as well, the third is meh and Mick didn't age too well, but maybe he did for an Australian with all the sun they have

Great reaction. Loved this movie when it came out, though I think foreign audiences miss out on some of the cultural references that we as Aussies got. The final scene in the subway is one - someone comments that "we're jammed in here like sheep". This gives Dundee the idea to walk across the top of the crowd - in the same way sheepdogs are taught to run across the backs of sheep.

I'm Aussie mate. Just to let you know DO NOT GO INTO OUR BUSH BY YOURSELVES. Everything here seems to be designed to kill humans. Seriously though at night, the lack of ambient light from the city allows you to see the light from the Milky way. You can see almost everything. Go camping in a forest away from the city and you'll see what I mean. Our natives have so much to teach about living with the environment that no-one seems to want to hear.

These two became a couple after this film. They married in 1990 but divorced after a 23 year marriage. The next two films, in my opinion, are just as good if not better.
