Hi all. In my humble opinion, in the 20th century, two men, each in his own individual way made a worldwide recognition impact. One was British. The other was Australian. The Briton was the man who led the Allies to victory over Hitler's Germany, WINSTON CHURCHILL bringing WW2 to an end. The Australian was STEVE IRWIN, the 'Crocodile Hunter' who earned 'his-recognition' via his love for wildlife including giant wild animals any one of which could have torn-him-apart in seconds, but who. tragically, lost his life to a Stingray. Winston Churchill lived to a ripe old age. Steve Irwin died on September 04. 2006, aged just 44. - Tomorrow, November 15th. Australians in their millions will remember Steve in what I understand is now his annual-memorial-day. I wish I could get my own Steve Irwin tribute song/video 'CROCODILES RULE' to every Australian, on this, (his), day. Unfortunately, my I.T. skills are extremely limited, so I can only offer a link to my creation, which 'appropriately' (I hope), is called CROCODILES RULE. 'That' was one of his (Steve's) favourite expressions.
