They have large scale information on two totally different fields. No team is better than the other. They both are good in their own ways. I too am offended with the description tho. I don't get why people are making fun of the Stephanian students. They did very well even when they got comparatively harder questions than the IIT ians. Also to people saying you cannot compare other colleges with IITs, you are correct. St. Stephen's is an arts college and IIT KGP is an engineering college. Both have their own strengths and weaknesses. If you think arts college students are too dumb to crack competitive exams, please check St. Stephen's alumni list- most of them are civil servants who cracked the UPSC CSE exam, which is way harder than JEE adv imo.

this is so disheartening that we Indians criticize iits and those Americans are making documentaries on it... documentary said that IIT is the most prestigious but unrecognized instute chain in the world... iitians are valued everywhere... and to get the feel of IIT you need to combine MIT+Princeton+Harvard !! even government knows the price value of iitian... but some people out of jealousy pops from nowhere and start spitting bullshit! IIT cannot be compared to any other institute in India... PS in any field perhaps they've got some best minds of country! and the exposure that IIT gives to its students is incomparable... but the story doesn't ends here... even non iitian can also get success!!
