My wife and I will be doing a 6 night, 7 day trip to Sylvania starting mid-September this year. We will be on nearly every lake and doing nearly every portage. That time of year, we prefer to dry foot portage by wearing waterproof boots that come up to upper calf (a few inches below the knee). Are there any portages in this loop that you think this type of dry footing is not feasible? Due to deep water depths at portage landings or something else? I'm also posting this comment on a couple of your other videos that cover other portages we'll be doing.

I will do my best to answer but I use the wet foot method. All of the portages on this loop are fairly shallow and sandy.

I have been there and did that in reverse on day 4 to drop folks at Crooked Lake to head home. My son and I continued on a loop through Crooked and back to Clark put in to end our trip 2 days later. We did a bunch of fishing and had a great time. Thanks for sharing!! Be safe!!!
