I’ve found that blending in is protective. Luckily, there’s plenty of full length T shirts available online and in charity shops-I dislike crop tops too. I really enjoy your videos, thanks for making them.
THANK YOU! I’m autistic and HATE the sensory feeling of crop tops, plus I just don’t like the style on myself. I know fashion trends are the most catered to but for the love of God could we have some regular length t-shirts?! 😅
Crop tops are “appropriate for my age” and even I hate them 😅 I feel like in general women’s clothing is always proportionally weird. Like some sleeves on T-shirts are always so short and tight for some reason, but for men’s they are so much more nice because they’re looser and longer which imo is more comfortable
I've found a website that I get all my t-shirts from. The fabric and cut is the same everytime so you know you like it, and every few months they change the styles and colours. It's great
I feel the exact same way. I absolutely hate pants and denim and that’s all you can find in shops and I used to wear them before to blend in but I had severe sensory overloads and now all I wear are 30’s and 40’s vintage dresses. It’s feeds into my hyper-fixation for sure but I feel comfy and safe
I feel the struggle ❤ I'm waiting for flared jeans to come back. Shorts that end below the thigh would also be nice (not skin tight) I like skirts but I also like to move freely. The only ones that fit are mens shorts, I wouldn't mind if the fabric wasn't made with a cross stitching method that feels like barbed wire when you sit longer than 30 mins on it...
Flared jeans are back! (so says my Gen z teen), though who cares what's "in," right? Lol and my gf ONLY wears the below the knee shorts. Idk where she gets them for women, but she rocks them!

I'm sure I could get them online for prices I can't pay, so sadly I have to wait until clothes I like become popular again. So that cheap stores also start selling them. Skin tight Jeans... all the way to the bottom, I don't want to feel my knees while walking. I bet the shorts of your GF even have pockets 🤩 Now I'm getting envious, but even if she could tell me where she bought them, that store might not even exist in my country or sells different clothing items.
@@MrScrelli they DO have pockets! I'm so jealous lol. I do most of my shopping through thrift stores, and second hand stores like Goodwill here in the US. I hate shopping. I hate spending money, and I hate most popular clothing trends haha. I've liked the same style of clothes since I was a kid - t-shirt and jeans or shorts. Tank top and stretchy pants lol. I feel your pain about clothes! Since I keep all my clothes forever, whether they fit or not lol, my teen daughter found some of my old high-school clothes and flipped cuz they were "so cool!" I'm like everything comes back around as "in" eventually haha.
i like _bland_, monochromatic long-hemmed t-shirts; i dislike feeling breeze on my tummy or lower back. I almost always end in the gentlemen section asking for something that doesn't look like I stole a tent carp 😢
I buy the dresses and wear them as tops. The really really short dresses that barely reach the top of your thighs - they are great with some jeans underneath 😉
Yes!!!!!!!! THANK YOU, Ella❤ Even when I had a very flat belly I just didn't feel comfortable wearing crop-tops. If my arms/chest/upper back is warmer the uncovered rest feels too cold, even when I am sweating. Having a big breast and beeing tall to find just loose fit T-shirts that cover my ass is not easy. And also mostly like the "young ones"-stuff or childrens, they are coulorful and just much more me then things for "my age" (I'm just thinking it would be funny to have signs in shops that would say "45 to 50, assigned female at birth: You have to buy only things from section A53").
I buy 3xl mens tshirts so that they are nice and baggy and they go to just above my knees or i by the longer line tshirts . Im in my mid 40s and i like fun nerdy tshirts.
Im 30 and I feel like the crop top trend has been around for at least the last 4 years. Im just now "aging out" of them I think and yet still have this problem. Why is it that its either sheer tops, crop tops, or granny clothes? No in between??? Like... why must I buy overpriced unisex graphic Ts from Anime & Gaming Convention vendors in order to have a shirt that isnt cropped!? (Dont get me wrong, I love these shirts too! But when theyre $35 - $50 a pop and I cant just get somethin off the sale rack at the mall its a tough time.)

Hi I get mens tee-shits because I have autism and don't like that everywhere are cropped clothes. Mens tee-shirt from Tesco I always get a large shirt because I'm the same.
Am I the only one? I can't wear crop tops because of sensory issues. Discrepancies on my skin partway on my body give me intestinal problems. So no shorts with socks, short sleeves with gloves, cropped shirts, etc.
I found wearing short dressed with trousers underneath is a good alternative to love T shirts. ... That or shopping in the mans department. Whatever your style is.
Even worse, even shopping for teenage girls and its the same, if I want the slightest bit of modesty for my tall 9 year old I have to go in the boys section or online. It's ridiculous ngl
