I like Buck-Rail. I mistakenly ordered the wrong moderator and they let me swap it back ot them for the right one for my Marauder Pistol. Great service!
I'm a super Buckrail Fan they are awsum in my Book . So you have a Marauder pistol eh , I don't know if you have seen it but look on ebay they have a forend with a space for the Guage that looks just like an AK forend, I've been brainstorming on how to put it on a 2240 with a safepac , Im starting to wonder why more manufacturers don't put out package like the one I built , yes only 11 shots but they are powerful, if you get an airtank you don't have to carry a pump , I just bought a 0.45 liter airtank and hand pumped it to 3000 PSI , I havnt done it yet but I'm guestimating that I can fill the safepack 6 or 8 times with the bottle so 66 or 88 shots coming from the refill bottle . Personally I'd rather have the power over shot count if it's not a bitch to refill . I've been carrying the pump in my backpack it's not super bad , I mean it's doable but obviously having a tank is the way to go
Also a fine video on RU-vid explaining the differences even though they have same markings they don't have exactly the same dimensions. I got it all sorted out but imagine you buy your 1st pcp and your pump doesn't fit , it was stressful
You should look into getting a electric young hang pump. 250$ish the icon new stock look good the icon it's self looks like it made from parts the all ready made in other models I can't tell what trigger set up there using and there plenty of capabilities out of both depending on what your going for you might try putting that heavy valve it not closing fast enough spring in the 2240 valve your also probably getting valve bounce and with lower pressure doesn't help if the discovery valve stem new you have to barn ish it or it won't seal right it similar to valve lapping be for you rebuild cyclender heads it seal the face of the valve stem to the valve face 😉👍👌✌️💯🎯
Thanks for the comments and tips , I was lucky and the Dico valve seated perfectly the 1st time . At this point I'm happy with the tune and build, it has a mad power curve but it's not hard to master , basicly the 1st 2 shots are a bit under powered but I'm comparing it to itself not to stock then I get 4 or 5 shots that are full power then it very slightly starts dropping till the last 2 shots , you can tell the valve it staying open longer and then the final shot completely empties the valve so I'm shooting from full to empty each time . I didn't know people had issues using the Discovery valve or that anything was needed to get it to seal , I wondered when I got the valve because the end looks ceramic not brass , if I do another build I will keep the stock valve and internals because the 2240 pippet acts as a guide for the spring , The safepac internals where all the valve action is taking place is about 20 percent longer inside than inside the stock valve set up for co2 .
