23:45 This effect is used to symbolize the fact you're entering in a encounter. In Undertale, each time you enter an encounter, you have sprites with a very few amount of colors over a black background. It's a nice detail :)
HEY, I'M HERE, SO LET'S BEGIN THE ANALYSIS! ABOUT INK: -The first lines in the episode "I thought by being your friend I could fix what happened that day" are said by Ink, probably to Cross. -The fact that Ink actually went to Cross immediately when he "felt his universe" goes completely against what he said about being discrete, so there's two options, either he's just an idiot who does whatever, or he's lying to Sans on purpose. ABOUT CLASSIC!SANS: -He was startled by being in Snowdin because, to him, it would've meant Frisk RESET and he was back trapped in the Underground with everyone else. ABOUT MULTIVERSAL RULES: -In the Undertale Multiverse, you can travel to any AU and not be affected, Sans was glitching because Cross was currently using his soul ABOUT CROSS AND CHARA: -"The marks on the ground are the same on his cheek" Yeah, keep that in mind. - 8:15 Most attacks in Undertale can be summoned, bones, spears, Gaster blasters, they can all be dissipated and materialize from anywhere, it's just a normal thing in Undertale and Underverse. - 10:01 Yeah, Cross and Chara interchange fonts when speaking to be theratening! It's a really fun detail. - The "X-Event" is a really important thing in this story, you'll understand more about it as time goes, but I can say that it is NOT a nickname Cross made up for edgyness. -The Gaster from Cross' universe is called XGaster, (pronounced EX Gaster), and that's actually his name, the X is part of the name. Also, incredibly good theories on your side about him, let's see if they have some true to it in the future. - 30:53 it looks like something or someone interfered with Cross' hack, keep that in mind for later. ABOUT THE ENDING SCENE: -So, this is never explained in the series, it was explained on an old comic that was deleted because of some continuity mistakes, but the "beach" Error is in right now has a cool origin. Him and Ink were both trapped there for a long time after half the AUs of the multiverse were erased by their creators, as shown in The Truce, that place somehow messed with their powers and left them helpless, and they were forced to speak to eachother for the first time, and somehow bond. After a while, they were freed, able to use their powers again. And that's where the idea of the truce between them began. After that, that place with no name is something like a meeting room for Error and Ink, they use that place whenever they need to speak one to one after their truce. Also say hi to Error's redesign, in the community we nicknamed him "Hobo Error" because all his clothes are stitched together.
@@КомандаЛеви what’s a NSA whistleblower got to do with Undertale other than his last name? Wait you were just making a joke tibia honest if Sans were to read that one he probably would say “kid if i were to cringe at a joke that would tell you that it’s beyond terrible so please try to think of a better one before i start pelting you with magic tomatoes.”
Dude the more the resets the more problems it can cause to a timeline where it can be glitched, erasing a character from the timelines or destroying the timeline or AU
The humour quickly gets irrelevant, once you get the idea where it's all heading to It's a *disaster* Ink didn't seem to get it right until the very last point He only agrees with it in 0.7 p2, which is where the multiverse is already destroyed because Ink decided to "have a little game" with the danger, thus breaking the truce, because it affected the AUs It was the LAST drop of Error's patience when Ink decided to pull X-Gaster card against him as a joke So yeah, that's why the jokes are gone after 0.4 So basically S1: Ink being an idiot S2: Ink regretting being an idiot
You don’t understand all the lore and references, but I think it’s part of the “fun” and one of the reasons why your reactions are so interesting and charming. Enjoyed the videos as always, thank you:D
Can someone please tell him to stop calling Frisk, Chara? The best way you can find out is by looking at the cheeks. Chara has blush and Frisk doesn't have blush. I know this might be a little mean. But at the same time, as an undertale fan, it hurts a little. Also, another way, you can find out Frisk has their eyes closed all the time, and Chara can open their eyes. Just some helpful tips to know who's who.
Ink’s eyes shows his emotions, so full red means anger while blue and yellow means chill mood. Ink doesn’t have a finished au, his au was a sketch and unfinished au. So he doesn’t have a soul
Also don’t forget, when you finish the serie, those aren’t canon personnalities. Except for Cross, i guess, cause his creator made Underverse. But yea, those are canon personnalities in the Underverse series but not necessarily their respective AUs.
yeah, they arent canon, but their personalities are close as canon. Ink is chaotic and kinda selfish, only helping creators because otherwise he wouldnt feel anything. Error is messed-up and insane, but a manbaby who likes Undernovela, just like in the AskError comic, which is official. I think "not being canon" has more to do with this multiverse not being the main one, and their choices and actions not being 100% tied to what their original creators would plan. the only AUs that fell completely in this "not canon" idea is Underfell and Underswap
It's time to mix this story with some action :D Also you probbaly already know but the newest episode (episode 0.7 part 2) releases the 28th of this month. Hopefully it won't end on a cliffhanger... who am I kidding this is a youtube animated series of course it'll end on a cliffhanger :] On another note, my interests are scarce even on youtube and i seldom give likes on videos even if i enjoy them, but your take on reactions (taking the time to pause, analyze the setting and reflect on what the hell is happening) is really cool so I'm putting a like on most of your reaction videos about murder drones, undertale and greek mythology. If you read this and made it down here could you tell me if you have ever read or watched Percy Jackson?
I know of Percy Jackson, but I never got into the stories myself. I missed the age demographic for it. Also from what I've heard, Rick Riordan is quite the accomplished writer.
@@Airier Oh wow that was fast .-. Yeah Rick Riordan is in my opinion one of the best science fiction writer, not because he manages to mix mythology and modern world/humor (he does it perfectly though) but mostly because of the sheer immensity of the world building. Right now there are 5 series, 3 of which are mainly focused on the greek and roman mythology, with a constant storyline. The 2 other series are about egyptian mythology and Norse mythology respectively, with completely different gods, monsters, power systems... And yet all those 5 series exist in the same universe, events and characters from one series can be referenced or even directly met in others... So yeah the reason why I think he's so good at what he does is his ability to link every single event and character together. You never know when some character will turn out to be the son in law of the cousin of the 3rd mother of a forgotten god worshipped by the grandkid of another character (maybe with less steps but you probably get the point. This hasn't happened... YET.)
I'm sorry.... The slipper and joke..... basically almost killed me. I have a really bad cough right now so I been trying hard not to laugh really hard... that.. just.... I was with you on that one with that... and I was just shaking my head as I was dieing there from the laugh and coughing thinking 'Yep.... thats Sans alright...."
You should watch the series, not through individual episodes, but by the movies (the compilation of all episodes) Jael remasters the old episodes to be more accurate and adds some little things. I'm not saying to watch the entire thing on one go, hell, no. The episodes are chaptered in the video.
I prefer Xtale movie over singular episodes for sure, because Xtale SERIES doesn't have those amazing credit scenes and doesn't have ELEVENTH entry episode. Also 2 of those Xtale episodes last only for 1 minute, so it would be weird if Airer planned to do one episode per video and then he would just do 1-2 minute reaction. Underverse movie on the other hand doesn't have anything new that wasn't presented in singular available episodes, unlike XTale movie with credit scenes and eleventh entry.
@@ruxenus2444 It does have some changed dialogue lines and also.. it fixed a pretty important moment from 0.0 with new context of Ink being soulless. I'd say it's better. The only downside is not being able to see that amazing opening every time.
@@guardianeatos Well, yeah. Original was made before she knew that Ink doesn’t have a soul. So for the movie XChara instead grabs him by.. something else. Which is a really, really awesome way to slightly retcon that moment into not just making sense again, but also for some massive foreshadowing.
The new Underverse Episode comes out on the 28th! I'm so jealous you don't have to wait whole years for the new episode 😭, can't wait till you get to it!
Sans doesn't want to be reminded of the underground, in this case, Snowdin, which just means that the timeline has reset and his happy ending is gone. That also means the possibility of a genocide route. I'm also going to point out that Chara's cheek blushes and their eyes are open, while Frish has no blush and closed eyes. Cross absorbs Classic Sans Soul, so technically, any damage that is inflicted on Cross Sans also gets affected. You should watch the movie version; it has updated dialog for the old episode and a time stamp for each episode so you don't get confused. The animation also gets a little improvement in the movie version.
The part about Ink supposed to "not be seen by other AUs", is because, despite how he introduces himself, Ink is actually not the "Portector of the AUs", but the "Protector of their scripts". So, Ink can see the script that us, the Creators wrote and his job is to make sure it does indeed happen. So, him being seen by people, especially when it is during time covered by the script, is something that could is technically something he avoids. (same for being seen in general. The only time he is seen is because there is a problem, usually either an external threat to the world that Ink has to stop (like what Cross does here), because it is interfering with said script, or a multiversal threat (like the situation with the Dreamtale twins, where if Dream died, nobody would ever feel positive emotions, ever again). If not, it means the script is over (like all the AUs visited in Underverse), so it is technically "harmless" to be seen or an accident, and he didn't intent as a result to be seen)
and fanon Underfell doesn't like bad jokes just like original Papyrus (it doesnt mean he dont like them at all, but it has to be a VERY good joke for him to like it)
By the way if you want to catch the full story of the underverse series you can watch xtras (short episodes that are the in between the normal episodes) and xtale (the prequel to underverse)
if you wonder why sans was freaking out about the snow its because of the resets frisk promised not to reset ever again and theyve made that promise many times before and broken it many times before, this timeline sans knew he could finally start to move on then suddenly cross steals half his soul, etc, and he wakes up back in snowdin (he wakes up in snowdin every time a reset happens)
This was very fun to watch and the laughs were delight (I really love this episode's humour😂) I love the theories and details that you go through while you react to these! I have watched multiple times all underverse + xtale episodes that are out but for example, only after you pointed out in this video that there is 'hack activated' text in the middle of animation, I wouldn't had maybe noticed it until some time at the future. The creator has sneaked in so many tiny details in these episodes that they really are worth to watch multiple times just to check what you couldn't spot on the previous time you watched it. Looking forward watching the rest of the react videos of yours there is out for now and upcoming ones if you do watch rest of the series too!
10:14 It's Cross referring to himself hence the ME being in caps. It's not Chara because Cross Text is white Chara's Is red at least it was previously.
I really hope you look at this. Hears some spoiler free information to make things less confusing, first error sans works for no one, he views everyone except UT sans ( undertale sans) as glitchs/ anomalys and thats why he wants destroy all the aus, and the reason UT sans was freaking is because he thought frisk his human broke their promise and reset the timeline and set him back to the underground
Quick fact; that Underfell human is FRISK, not Chara, like the normal AUs (except Underswap, for example), the human that follows Cross is XChara (male btw)
Idk if you have been told this before but after underverse 0.4 you should check xtale since it gives a lot of context to underverse events, particularly cross and its pretty much essential to understand whats going on past 0.4. You could watch it before 0.4 but it does spoil some twists, so idealy watch it after.
it's only tomorrow if you live in countries like New Zeland,Australia,Indonesia,Russia and Japan (In other countries with different time zones it is 2 days to wait for the episode)@@Pinck_blob
2:55 his reaction... i think it's not from surprise, but for joy. Sans is really a... ''home'' dude, y'now? at the pacifist end, sans, instead of exploring the surface like others, just go straight to the underground again. (even though we see him in the surface at the credits, wich could mean that he teleported OR that he decided to explore after taking a nap). BUT, if you think it was a... freak out face, i guess it would be because THAT would mean that cross is messing out with HIS universe. Also, remember, EXP = Execution Points. This is not as important but it's curious. Blue attacks: don't move or you'll get damage., Orange attacks: move or you'll get damage. I dunno much about this AU but, I've seen videos and images, and Fell!Sans doesn't sweat when he is tired or nervous (at least not always.) sometimes, he just... sweats. I dunno the reason, but in the combat, i don't think it'd be because fell felt tired. 17:00 GOD DAYUM THE PAIN IN HIS VOICE WHEN HE REALIZED
So excited to see you react to the Xtra scenes, then 0.3 part 1 and 2 (the one i almost religiously rewatch so much at the time because banger song and awesome fight scene and then probably my fav extra because there's a song/ost i fall in love with- (called 'truce') AND THEN 0.4 AND ALL THE NEW FIGHT SCENES AAAAA-
Ooooh yeah btw after u finished season 1 PLEASE REACT TO X TALE ANIMATION FIRST- it's kinda a prequel to underverse and you'll get where Xchara, cross, Xgaster and ink get their motivation from! After u finished X tale THEN react to s2!
I'm back. Sorry it took so long, I've been going through my own stuff and doing these take a long time. I'll still be answering as many of Airier's questions as I can, not for his sake, but for everyone who watches these videos later on and share his confusion. 3:03 This reaction is based on what I like to call Reset PTSD, this Classic when seeing the snow, is afraid that the world was reset and they are all back in the cycle of the game. Remember that for characters like Sans the Undertale time loop is like a personal hell
5:25 Not typically to my knowledge 5:29 some more context to this: characters who spend too much time in an anti-void typically go mad and gain extra powers similar to Erorr's strings.
23:56 Ink being in black and white is likely because in every undertale fight the monsters are in black and white with few exceptions, as for why the vials are still in color, they are likely either some kind of human soul based substance or just some kind of colored magic, remember that these vials are the source of Ink's emotions.
Also last point when you said in 13:16 that he didn’t mean to kill him that is true and all but he wanted to dmg him as in classic Undertale references the game would say for the colours of blue and orange attacks which is not move and move and that’s why when fell was standing completely still this gave cross an opportunity to hit him if he wasn’t moving but with something more powerful than white bones and that’s coloured attacks
Dude remember that Cross overwrite jack didn’t work because there is a limit to it being used meaning the more used the more it won’t normally work until you let it cool down
Hi Airier did you ever see madness combat, still think you may enjoy vg exiles it basically sliders with video game characters quantum leaping to different dimensions
Eya love your content You should look out for the relese date of some things. As an exemple there is the xtale comic that came out beetwin ep 0.3 part1 and 0.3 part 2. Also ther are some tiein here and there that you should not miss for context. Anyway enjoy the siries as you like ❤❤
Btw, red lines are CHARA’s lines. White ones are belong to cross. Cross had a normal au so he has his own chara but im not gonna spoil anything about that. Annd EVERY AU PROTAGONIST EXCEPT UNDERSWAP IS FRISK^^
2:23 This, my friend, is a common misinterpretation of Classic Sans It's common to the point it's rotting the Fandom from the inside Sans isn't aware of RESETs, just knows they happen, yet Jakei thinks he does 5:26 Yes it does Well, normally it doesn't, but when it's broken like that? Yeah, the code does change, and that affects everything in it's vicinity Voids and Anti-Void are the same, if you aren't already somewhat broken, you'll get broken further 7:09 Yeah, it's X-Chara did, back in the X-Tale X or something 9:11 That's just downplaying Frisk, just like all Sans AU fans do, in reality Frisk/Chara of any Au can stand up against any moderate threat like Error, let alone that warped X-prick Downplaying *DETERMINATION* as usual 10:41 I kind of have the same question I think RESET would throw Cross away at the very least, in worst case it would delete him and glitch him out
Bud, watch season 2 prologue -Owners-. The classic timeline we see is technically an AT created by Jael. A timeline with slightly altered events to the original. After all, one can never truly put in the original timeline without making some assumptions and interpretations.
@@antonikozupa9736 I watched the prologue Don't remember any references to it being a ripoff AT But i know for sure it's not exactly the original timeline, it's probably a result of countless upon countless RESETS
@@narrativeless404 You're right, it was never specifically reffered to as an AT. I made the assumption myself that because Jakei, through some forced event (being that Sans was able to beat Frisk), made a new scenario based on if Sans did something different and how this affected him permanently (now having full awareness over resets). It's a branch where sans feels something different. This to me, signifies that it is an alternative timeline, even if it's very close to the original. Although I totally understand still considering it part of the original universe as it was implied to have been the original universe in the past. The AT to Original Universe line is muddied here.
