Thank you for this tutorial. And I seriously like this better than an actual frame. And as you said it will also be a lot lighter, so not to heavy for the walls ❤ I love this. Thank you.

This is lovely! I will do something similar. There are easier ways. I'm too ill to explain but look at how to back a quilt and make a quilt hanger. That sort of thing. Then you wouldn't need to use so much of that fusible stuff. There was your sewing machine sitting in the background crying because it didn't get used to its potential. Your way of doing it works for you, I'm just saying there are easier ways. Beautiful.

Can I assume this is double sided fusible web? Can you recommend a brand? Great tutorial!
@gemmastitches
@gemmastitches Год назад
It doesn’t have any peel-off paper or anything on it like interfacing does. (Do NOT use Heat and Bond, it is a different product! If it is a two-step process it is the wrong stuff. The correct product is placed between layers and pressed in one step as shown in the video.) I highly recommend testing on some scrap pieces before trying it on a finished project. At my fabric store it was an item kept in bolts under the cutting table counter. Pellon Wonderweb or Stitch Witchery are good brands. monfil.ca/product/stitch-witchery-htc3000-28/
