It is brutal sometimes. Sometimes you cannot chase damage fast enough and sometimes you cannot survive fast enough as your team crumbles in on itself from all sides. It is like bots are playing

Love this tank line (specially from Tier VIII). The highlight of this tank is the gun, of course. The top tier gun is the one on the tier X, but with a bit higher dispersion and lower rate of fire. 305mm pen on standard ammo is straight up awesome, to such point that gold ammo is not really required for this fella. The tier X (Strv 103B) is even better. Same profile, adding a heat shield on the front makes most Heat shells miss you if you cover your lower plate. More armor than its predecessor (you get 2 areas with 50mm armor, which combined with the extreme angling lets you block an obscene amount of shots. I have got 2 steel walls with it lol). Siege mode basically makes you have a laser gun with +0.01 dispersion when rotating lol and 0.98 aim time. It also has a really high rate of fire that will make a tortoise blush (You can lower it to 5.55s)
Finishing the grind on this tank to get the 103B with the Top of the Tree discount. It’s great on the redline but you can pull off some really goofy goober peeking plays with how low the profile is. I held off 3 heavy tanks pushing the hill out of Live Oaks yesterday with peeking over the hill and running back
I've found that disabling all but Standard Battles in the MM helps, but if the teams are stacked unevenly (field mods vs stock grinders) then the 15-5 steamroll is inevitable.
I thought i was tripping. Came back to the game after a year and played a few games with the uses 03 then this tank and it truly felt like I was playing with bots against full clans. very weird
I would rather play UDES 03 on tier IX with more HP and more pen, would trade armor for speed and camo, tier IX gun is too innacurate for what it is supposed to do and hit, shots fly wherever they want, while UDES was hitting pixels left and right!
This has been how my last 10 or so games in my 103b have gone like, either garbage maps or 4 minute blitz games where you can barely scrape 2k dmg, super frustrating but what can you do :/

Honestly not a big fan of IX tier, everything is a bit off for me. But for some people it works i guess. Tier X is glorious and capable of doing much more, even though overall they are quite similar. Plus, 103-B holds my account's damage record, it's one of my favourite tanks in the game. When i was grinding the line, every single match on IX tier was a struggle, somehow even with good accuracy it was just missing the shots too often, so i just wanted to be done with this TD. But the struggle was so much worth it after i finished the line. I had a similar situation with Leopar 1 line.
i actually use aiming unit just to make sure i actually hit the shots. i absolutely hated the tier8, the tier9 feels like a dream to me after grinding udes
@@ashtheswan705 my friend had the same experience as you. But in his case, he first played with S1 premium, then grinded the line months after. I played S1 after i grinded the line (honestly when i play on it without turbo it's dreadful, but my way of playing will always be binos) Seemed like each of us preferred the type of vehicle we first played with. But on top of that udes 03 offers you adjusting to the terrain with both gun and tracks in siege mode, sometimes it really felt like a massive advantage.
@Sneek666 oh yes, udes in siege is so precise, it really feels as if you could not possibly get better gun. S1 premium and IX tier are sadly similar, both lack accuracy in comparison to VIII or X tier, it kinda spoiled me, i must admit XD

I hate this tank so much, .4 dispersion and 3 second aim time on a sniping stealth tank. the amount of shots missed from 100m in this thing is infuriating
This is my current grind and sometimes it works and sometimes it just doesn't, no matter how you try. Btw Skieell, I want to start the German TD grind, Should I go the Grille way or Jgd E100 way??
I prefer the Jgd E100. It is more fun to play I think. Especially when you land those shots and see the other tanks hp just disappear. I guess it depends how you like to play the TD’s. If you just want to snipe at the back, then Grille is better. If you want the option to get closer in on the battle, then the Jgd E100 is best for that. As I said, I do have more fun playing the Jgd E100, with the better armour, and that alpha damage. It can be a bit frustrating though, but what tank isn’t these days lol. I find the Grille should be a much better TD than it is, maybe it’s down to how a lot of games are - either the other side crumbles or yours does, and since grille has no armour, you don’t get too many chances for a good sniping game.
This tank is so much worse than Udes or Strv103B. The accuracy is absolutely trash regardless of buffs and the armor is just a joke (not good). This has to be the worst tier for tier tank in this line...and the most frustrating to play. Have fun getting circled by almost all tanks.
This comment is not about SKILL its about the worst MM as we have seen here. Super unicum: auto lose , auto win, auto lose and auto win. At least Ivent spent 1€ since 2020 4 this epic BS where 90% of games 4 average player decided before start.
Dude! What do you mean paper tank? I have lost a duel with my mighty JGPIZ*A agnist this sweedish TD! Guy litterally shredded me like lumberjack a timber! 3 times gold ammo bounced from his commanders hatch, giving him time to pinpoint me on my tracks and flanking my back!
Lille by little this game will become full pay to win…shoot gold and become bank robbed ,so I have to buy premium tank to compensate the money u lose,so in the end pay and u will play. Too bad this game was such a good one.
