By the way the band in 2004 were a four piece band Ed Sloan on vocals, guitar then Mitch James on bass, backing vocals and Tony byroads who was the DJ for the band at the time and did backing\ co lead vocals and drummer James branham Tony byroads did Co lead vocals on Cold but left the band in 2005 because of that bass player Mitch James had to do Tony byroads part live and drummer James branham left the band in 2008
That intro was great, helped them tighten up the start which I haven't seen them do. They haven't achieved a tight start in previous videos from what i've seen.
I'm assuming that was the purpose of it. I haven't looked into this at all. I'd think the drummer on a metronome with a quick drum lick could work well too
The bassist is singing the right notes. If you listen closely his notes sound just fine standing alone. THE PROBLEM IS!!!! The stupid ass tech guy has Mitch (the bassists) vocals turned up too high because of the "I never meant to be so cold" Part. They to turn him down during the verses. I run soundboards so this pisses me off
Tony left the band in 2005 to spend more time with his wife. The other guitarist is Les Hall who joined around the later half of the bands runtime to fill in Lead/Rythm guitar
He didn't need the backup guy anyway. I saw them live years later in Asheville, NC and it's one of the best performances I've ever seen live. They sang cold last and it sounded just like the album version. He is an amazing singer and was extremely underappreciated
@@danielwarren1290 I did the thumbs down as I lived and happily exited the whole "God" thing (religion), but to be fair, if something makes a person happy, then good for them really.
