For the "more from the outside media" question, hopefully he can direct CrossFit resources more towards these media sources that will help/uplift the community and sport. Most all of the true CrossFit sources/podcast/vlogs are aimed directly at supporting the cause. Stay away from any that have any obviously toxic reputations. The growth of the sport doesn't need them.

Hi Lauren, Thank you for the amazing interview. If you get the chance, could you please ask Don about the following (would help CF HQ track the number of members): Beyond the Whiteboard is great, but it does not have class reservation. As such, affiliates must also use another app. Would CrossFit consider providing affiliates with an app that does BOTH class RESERVATION as well as WOD TRACKING capabilities? Please consider this as it could bring a lot of value to both CF HQ (from the data it would generate), affiliates, and athletes, with relatively low cost for CF HQ. It would be great if it was included in affiliate fees too, so that affiliates would default to app. This would help with long term growth and value proposition for new/current members.

There are a ton of options out there already, even ones like PushPress that don’t have monthly fees. Imho, hq would be better off focused on growing the sport vs trying to build or manage a software platform.

Crossfit is absolutely ripe for real data-driven growth. For a methodology that treasures performance data, it has seemed behind the curve on business data. The initiatives he mentioned sound great, and all of them can and should be launched with a backbone of solid metrics, to allow Agile Marketing to direct HQ resources toward what actually works. Beating your head against the wall is not a productive exercise.
