these guys are fit forsure. the endurance to do 160 reps of just thrusters alone would be death..those burpeeflops added in is a whole other level. all 3 athletes here are in my top 5 inspiration.
Ali G u realise the x and c keys are right next to each other right. knocking on someone's grammar instead of actually presenting a proper counter-argument is a pussy move.
Wow! Lots of training to get to this level of fitness!! What kind of shoes are they wearing? I would guess that those shoes are good for all of these exercises, including squatting.
Does anyone in the comments know anything about the topic they are trying to slam meanwhile what they really are doing is just make themselves look stupid af?
Like you said, the green plates are 25lb bumpers. The blue plates are 5lb change plates. The bar must weigh 35lbs, because you had to use 95lbs for the workout.
the worst part is they slamming their chests into the ground and touching with knees on every rep, like cheat pushups, that's not how a burpee is done. Fair play i get the whole crossfit idea of as much work as possible including cheat reps etc assisted to do more total work..but imo a full rep done properly is a rep, ie dropping down into plank position, pushup, back to plank and then jump up from there back to standing. but whatever Matt and Rich obviously in great shape just think that it gives crossfit a bad name sometimes and people cheat reps to get as many as they can so everyone ends up cheating themselves ultimately.
Certain exercises there is actually a focus on form, and others it's do do the work as fast and efficiently as possible. The idea is to train your body to do 'work'. Note that the form on the barbell lifts is strict - because perfect form is the most efficient way to do the movement. So a crossfit burpee is to go from standing, to touch your chest parallel to the ground, and back to a jump.
I understand the people who argument Form is first than Reps. But remind that those are burpees in maximum effort, not push ups. Like when you are in competion, form are degraded with hig reps n burpees need the move of the entire body, not only arms.
I hate how in crossfit you learn proper form (or at least where I go(yes out form matches that of pro weightlifters)) but then in comps that is complete disregarded
tampoco froning los hacía bien, pero como era over the bar tal vez no tenían qué ser muy estrictos y además la chinga de hacer el wod 16.5 con un caloron y la presión de terminar mas rápido por eso lo hacían mal el burpee
Why does y'all have to say negative things about CrossFit. If you actually tried this stuff you'd respect it real quick. When ur exhausted and out of breath it takes so much focus and mental strength to.keep ur form and to keep pushing. Just jumping over the bar is a struggle takes focus not to be lazy cuz ur tired. But the one dude doing those terrible pushups is ridiculous tho
Y’all watching this and hating, acting like form Nazi’s, have no idea what fitness is. It takes strength and endurance to complete that in the time that they did
Yo the winner was the one doing the burpees wrong... Everyone was fine and amazing but the winner had to put the shades on at the end to hide from the shame
