Hello from the SEA !!!!!
The Yangtze River....
Third longest river in the world, Yangtze is the busiest river in terms of shipping Traffic.
Our transit through the Yangtze was a quite long one. We had a Pilotage of around 21 hrs, that too in a busy river.
There are numerous cargo ports and shipyard along the length of Yangtze.
China's 60% of shipping transport takes place in the river.
Navigating through Yangtze is itself challenging for the Ship's staff. Adequate planning and preparation is required.
There were total of 5 overhead bridges we crossed while transiting through the river.
That's how a SEAFARER life is. Busy and hectic at times..
