An amazing 3 part documentary! I have no idea what you do for a living, but if you're not in the film making industry, you definitely could be. Your editing and narrating skills are excellent! These series just keep getting better every year. After watching Part 1, I shared your channel with a friend of mine who grew up in NFLD, but has been living out West here for several decades. He is not an ATV enthusiast, but thoroughly enjoyed your videos and said he could hardly wait to see part 2 and then 3. I think he's probably going through your entire channel right now - lol Thanx again for taking us along on your adventure!

started with this video then had to go back i watch the first two, really enjoyed them all kept thinking how can i get my sxs out there to do that. you are all troopers but the fella on the ATV gets alot of respect thats a long way to go on one. thanks for sharing.

Just finished watching the '21 trip on my tv. It was enjoyable to watch on a bigger screen. I've watch most of your trips across the Rock. Hope to see more in the future as it also nice to a bit of home as I don't get to back often.

Thanks for showcasing my province! Although as beautiful as it seems on pictures and video, it pales on comparison to seeing it all in person. So much to see as well, one could spend a month riding the trails here and still not fit them all in.

@@EastCoastATV yes a full month would be nice. So much open crown land, no restrictions, no trail passes required. Camp almost anywhere. So many atv friendly towns! Oh and the hospitality! I'm sure happy you guys keep returning. We meet many riders crossing our province while we are having our own side x side adventures. We always travel with our labrador retrievers, although we haven't met your group just yet. Hopefully you all come back again next summer. Take care.

What a fantastic and amazing 3 part series. The editing and drone footage is exceptional, and the information that you provide is extremely helpful and beneficial. I just recently bought an ATV, primarily to use it for snow clearing, but planning on hitting the trails in my neck of the woods. I currently reside in Bay Bulls, Nfld, just south of St. John's, and we have tons of trails in the area. I'm in the process of trying to figure out how I can connect onto the T'Railway system. Cannot wait to see your 2022 trip to Nfld. Cheers, stay safe.

It's a ton of fun. You can do it with an ATV, you don't need a SXS. You only need a few people.

I had a question about what kind of rain x you use. I have been told to not use it on a plastic windshield. What kind do you use? And love your videos!

You can use regular Rain-X on hard coated windshields, and glass. It has to be applied often on hard coated windows as it wipes off more easily than it does on glass. You can use Rain-X Plastic for non-coated plastic windows.

Awesome Video! The trail that goes from deerlake to corner brook I believe its goose Arm road? is it easy riding? any bogs or rivers that you need to cross?? Also is there cell service thats what I plan on using as a GPS. Thanks!

I swear I saw one of your videos where you and your group rode the transmission line to Hawkes Bay on the Northern peninsula in Newfoundland. Am I right? Did you go this past summer? I was exploring the T'railway the weekend of August 20 and 21. On the afternoon of the 21st coming back, 2 groups of people passed me, 1 looked like they were prepped to cross the island. I don't recall seeing a yellow commander. Riding alone, I went as far as where the T'railway crosses the highway. Definitely not the same as the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail but very scenic.

Yes, we drove up to the transmission line to Hawke's Bay in my 2020 videos. We went to NL in September but did not go to Hawke's Bay. I will be putting out videos later this year. Thanks for watching Carl!

Flat Tires..ycch! What do you recommend for repairing tires on the trail ? Should i carry a spare or can i get by with plugs etc? Thanks

Most of the time plugs work fine. If you have room for a spare wheel and tire, bring one just in case you blow a sidewall, which I've done a few times.

Legally, you can't drive a full-size truck on the T'Railway (the old railbed that crosses the province). You can access several mountain trails which trucks can be driven on but on in sections. It would be much better to do this trip on an ATV or Side By Side as you would miss out on a lot in a full size truck.

Thanks. We use Sena bluetooth headsets. I use an SMH-10 and some of the other guys use the 30 or 50 model. The higher the number the better the quality and range. People pop in and out of the chat depending on how far apart we are from one another. Thanks for watching.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the videos. The trails in NL are wide enough for 72" machines except for the trail to "Little Codroy Pond". It's tight getting in there with a 64" machine. I hope you do the trip!

We had 3 Can Am Commander 1000's. (XT, XTP, Ltd). A Teryx 4, a Kawasaki Brute Force 750, Can Am Maverick XMR, Can Am X3 Turbo RR. The Yamaha was shipped to NS and needed an engine replacement.

Did you guys have to clean your machines before boarding? I'm thinking you hosed them down just after the Agriculture Canada checkpoint. Am I right ? I was also wondering does anyone come out unscathed at the end? Meaning no issues with their machine and no visits from the flat fairy. Thank you The only atv, I can't see him bringing a spare tire so it's safe to assume he just repaired it on the spot?

Yes we have to get them sprayed down before getting on the ferry. We've done several trips where not a single person had any issues. Mostly the biggest thing we run into are the occasional flat.

At the beginning when that brent fella said his machine had 0 klm on it , and he had just backed it on and off a trailer i immediatly thought to myself, if the dealer didn't assemble things right from the crate, he's gonna find out in the worse way. It terrifies me as someone who is currently saving all his dimes and nickels for a new machine to see things like that happen, as it will be one of the biggest purchases I've made. I hope the dealer made good.

It's a beautiful trip. We don't take newcomers because we always have large groups. You don't need a big group though. Just get 2 or 4 people and you'll have a great time. Be sure to check out my Facebook page because I recently put a post where people are joining in with others to create groups.

I hope you make it too. There was a tube under the air box that had a loose hose clamp on it. The lower part came off and allowed the air box to suck up water and dirt.

Locus Maps Pro on my Android phone and Tablet. It works fantastic. You can download maps for offline use so that they will show up with no cell coverage.

How happened with your buddy’s Yamaha? How did he get it back before you left?

He didn't get it back before leaving. Yamaha shipped it to Nova Scotia and they had to put a new engine in it. It was covered under warranty.

I saw a guy do it on a Pioneer 500 a few years ago. He wasn't happy about it, though. But it did it. The 700 would be more comfortable, though.
