Wonderful video. Love the ride! Took your advice and played some E.S.T. while watching and it was perfect. But obviously with those grades, the speed, vehicles pulling over for you, and on all that gravel, you are not on a bike. What kind of vehicle are you driving?, A Jeep, an ATV?
Hi Jim, glad had a great ride:-) We use various methods and techniques to film the routes depending on the circumstances we face. For this one, we used a Hollywood like cinema set-up to get the best result.

@@BiketheWorld Yes, it actually is. I ride for leisure, not for a heart pounding workout necessarily. If the headset is on securely and you have a fan blowing gently in front of you, it makes for a good ride. You just have to be sure that you have good internet so that you have a clear consistent image.
Love this because i miss Picos so much. Please could you tell me the area of the gravel trail. I'd like to ride that one day when we are allowed out again!

It appears to be shot from a vehicle, which compromises the video a bit, I think. It does not have the same vibe a bike ride. Still beautiful scenery, though.
Thanks Rokhim, music is very subjective and most of our subscribers prefer to use their own music. In the section 'Adding music to the ride:' you can read about how you can add music to your ride.
Hi Axelivan, Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is awesome. But when it comes to music opinions are very mixed. This is why we do not add music to our rides. We simply do not want to spoil your ride with music you do not like. But it is quite simple to add it yourself. Open an extra browser tab. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, RU-vid, etc…) and pick the music you like and enjoy the ride...
Hi, most find our videos too slow... Luckily you can adjust the speed in the lower right corner, or even better use our app 'Open Road' which synchronizes your speed on your indoor trainer with our videos ;-)
@@BiketheWorld My apologies, I should have experimented with settings before "commenting", and I know what to do now. I must say that I really enjoy your videos, much more than others I have tried. By way of a personal suggestion, I would have liked a few panoramic shots to be included, as I have to crane my neck, from time to time, in an effort to see round the edges of the screen. Maybe these are already included on some? And, I view on a MacBook, is your app appropriate for this? Well done, and thanks.
No worries, glad to help :-) We run our PC app on MacBooks using Bootcamp. But we would love a macOS version as well in the future. Concerning panoramic shoots, I'm not quite with you. Are asking us to turn the camera while riding?
@@BiketheWorld It was only an observation, and I am certainly not complaining, but perhaps you could stop occasionally and pan around. Just think of how much we would appreciate that, I am seeing sights that I didn't know existed, and I need a little bit more. It's selfish I know, it's only a thought. I already love your videos, they have enhanced my exercising (at 82), I want moooooorrre!
